Me too! I live in a super liberal enclave and my neighbors have no idea. I have a MAGA hat in my closet but have never worn it.

I live in Portland and all my friends think I'm APPALLED by him. To say otherwise would be committing social suicide. I am out there at bars SMH at whatever latest thing he did that everyone is ranting about- meanwhile going home and watching his speeches on youtube and cheering him on. I am a young woman, FWIW. I think there are MANY of us.

Of course there are. That is how he won. Kind of sad that you are so spineless.

I deal with them because they are my kids' friends' parents.

I hate standing on the sidelines with white males with a huge bellies, tucked in collared shirt and loafers screaming at their child. I know their kid will never live up to their expectation in school, on the field or their college acceptance list. I watch one by one as each parent is disappointed in their kids and their kids know it. I watch really nice kids turn in to douch bags like their dad and it makes me sad... Chasing money.

Good points.

Were you typing quickly?

You are happy that women are sad about the rape and abuse statistics?

Could you point out where the PP said she was "happy that women are sad"? I must have missed it.

"State of perpetual rage" sound like sad to me but okay mad.

She is happy women are mad about sexual assaults?

She said that she is in a state of perpetual rage...

She loves Trumpsters because if Trump lost femanists would not be outraged about rape?

Is English not your first language?

No so please explain what she is trying to say. I really don't understand the statement but I do know English well enough to know she should not write "friends who is" so I figured she just wrote quickly.

She like trump so her femanist friwnd "who is" enraged over tape. That is what I read.

Trump lovers--I'm truly curious about what you think he has actually done to better the US. Being a straight talker and clearing the swamp--those don't count in your list of his accomplishments. What is he actually doing that you're so excited about?

My friend just had a baby and I don't really care if I meet it while it's a newborn. I will because she's so happy, but babies are boring lumps until they're about 2.

Ah, gotcha. I don’t think you understand how parentheses work- it’s basically a thought inserted into the middle of the sentence that doesn’t affect the flow of it. Therefore the sentence could really be read as “I am a feminist with many feminist friends who is in a state of perpetual rage”.

I can see how if English is not your first language, this would confuse you. “I” is the subject “is” is the verb- she was referring to herself. You are correct in that someone would not say “friends is” in English

Why would she be enraged by sexual assault and love Trump who sexually assaults women.

I think I understand sentace 2 but it seem to negate sentence 1.

I would never go to their country and shit all over their customs, people and language. If I thought it was that bad I certainly wouldn't move here permanently. For some of the people I'm thinking of, being here instead of their native European country certainly allowed them a nice life of being a SAHM while receiving Medicaid and other benefits for their children they had here.

Not anymore! This makes sense to me. Go back to ____ if you don't want to work.

I've started telling them that. I just have no patience for it. Why are you here if America makes you miserable? Not to mention it's rude as hell to behave that way. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Well as an Anerican I could not give two ****** what people think of this country and I don't think they should hightail it outta here if they complain.
I do think that some Americans need to spend less time feeling insulted and policing other peoples patriotism and more time on making America live up to it so called ideals .

I'm not quite sure I can solve whatever issues you seem to be dealing with. I suggest you improve your English before endeavoring to understand or engage in political discussion on here. It's a bit much to have people hand-hold you and explain the same simple sentence ad nauseam. But I commend you for trying.

His openness and direct answers are so different. The traditional sneaky ass politician speak looks so dishonest anymore.

I think there's a ton of us.

What do you think of his lies, misleading statements, etc.?

It's all out there with him for everybody to judge as they see fit. The lifetime politicians trained over decades to obfuscate and blather meaningless words that cover up their actual views are worse. Granted, not many people are talented enough to pull off what Trum p can so I'm sure we will go back to the boring insufferable douchebags of the past.

I agree. I also dont know that I would characterize much of what he says as "lies". It's kind of like your friend who is extremely oppressive, and they're telling you about a bad experience at dinner, and they say, "It was the worst restaurant I've ever been to! I couldn't believe it was so bad". Now if you are a social dunce you will take that at face value and think they literally mean it was the worst of every single eating establishment they had visited over their time on planet earth. If you are an intelligent individual you will recognize it as a bit of hyperbole meant for the purpose of telling an entertaining story and expressing emotion, and understand it to mean "It was a really bad restaurant".

But the press jumps on what he says and will directly quote him, twisting nearly everything so it sounds like a ridiculous lie (which is easy for them to do because he truly has no filter and says exactly what he thinks)

Maybe some people would feel deceived and misled if they were talking to the friend, following up on the metaphor, and they mentioned that Applebees is the worst restaurant. "But you told me the place you went last week was!"

But I think a lot of people know exactly what hyperbolic friend is doing, and appreciate their frankness, and love said friend for always letting everyone know exactly where they stand.

I think Trump has great appeal to many for the same reason that some others hate him. There are nit-picky, "it needs to be exactly right and pre rehearsed" types, and then there are people who want frankness and are able to use social intelligence to kind of fill the gaps. Those are my people, and Trump's people too.

You have to be a troll or stupid as hell . You don't drain a swamp and the fill it with gators. You don't lie and then try to say you did not ,
If Trump worked for you he would be the first employee you would fire.
He he did not get elected because he so smart, he got elected because people like you are so ignorant, maybe educated but ignorant as hell and so wanted to get rid of the black man. You voted against your own best interest and will now reap the whirlwind.
