I think there's a ton of us.

What do you think of his lies, misleading statements, etc.?

It's all out there with him for everybody to judge as they see fit. The lifetime politicians trained over decades to obfuscate and blather meaningless words that cover up their actual views are worse. Granted, not many people are talented enough to pull off what Trum p can so I'm sure we will go back to the boring insufferable douchebags of the past.

I agree. I also dont know that I would characterize much of what he says as "lies". It's kind of like your friend who is extremely oppressive, and they're telling you about a bad experience at dinner, and they say, "It was the worst restaurant I've ever been to! I couldn't believe it was so bad". Now if you are a social dunce you will take that at face value and think they literally mean it was the worst of every single eating establishment they had visited over their time on planet earth. If you are an intelligent individual you will recognize it as a bit of hyperbole meant for the purpose of telling an entertaining story and expressing emotion, and understand it to mean "It was a really bad restaurant".

But the press jumps on what he says and will directly quote him, twisting nearly everything so it sounds like a ridiculous lie (which is easy for them to do because he truly has no filter and says exactly what he thinks)

Maybe some people would feel deceived and misled if they were talking to the friend, following up on the metaphor, and they mentioned that Applebees is the worst restaurant. "But you told me the place you went last week was!"

But I think a lot of people know exactly what hyperbolic friend is doing, and appreciate their frankness, and love said friend for always letting everyone know exactly where they stand.

I think Trump has great appeal to many for the same reason that some others hate him. There are nit-picky, "it needs to be exactly right and pre rehearsed" types, and then there are people who want frankness and are able to use social intelligence to kind of fill the gaps. Those are my people, and Trump's people too.

And I have to admit I am so relieved Hilary did not win. But I could never admit this to ANYONE.

Were you typing quickly?

You are happy that women are sad about the rape and abuse statistics?

Could you point out where the PP said she was "happy that women are sad"? I must have missed it.

"State of perpetual rage" sound like sad to me but okay mad.

She is happy women are mad about sexual assaults?

She said that she is in a state of perpetual rage...

She loves Trumpsters because if Trump lost femanists would not be outraged about rape?

That I think we do need to do something about illegal immigration, that it seems like a loophole for kids. Ron here to be eligible for stuff like Medicaid when their parents are here illegally, and that I strongly oppose the use of IB visas to basically undercut IT workers here and facilitate the ultimate outsourcing of their jobs (dad worked for a computer company and although he did not get laid off lots of others did en masse only to be required to train up foreign replacements).

^ "for kids to be here" is what about should say.

A feminist who loves trump? He gives "direct" answers? This can't be real.

I don't tell people because I don't want them to think (or say) there's no way I can get my fat ass across the state, let alone the country. I'm also afraid I'll get 3 days in and realize I made a terrible mistake and I don't want to confess to that to lots of people (if it happens.) And lastly, I don't want people constantly asking me how the preparations are going. I plan to leave in roughly a year.

Amazing. I'm rooting for you.

+1 and lot's of african americans that support trump, too. They have some very thoughtful, positive opinions of trump.

A lot of us shake our head at this sanctuary city idea. It is so so stupid. A few of us even realize that it is cultural suicide! Thank God for President Trump.

How stupid some of my family and friends are. I have tried to discuss politics with them. But they are so dumb. It is sad. They really have no substance behind their total support of Trump. It is good that they were born on third base, because they would be SOL otherwise.

America's wealth and culture hold it together. Multiculturalism may weaken part of societies glue. During an economic crisis people will point fingers and lay blame and society will become disfunctional. Eventually this could lead to a collapse, massive crime or even a civil war.

Same here. He doesn't HATE America.

He only loves money and himself. If he loves the US, why is he a puppet of Putin?

Naive liberals. If democracy is an experiment and the is dependent on the US, why risk the fate of humanity with social programs, open borders etc...

Me too! I live in a super liberal enclave and my neighbors have no idea. I have a MAGA hat in my closet but have never worn it.
