Exactly which comments are so full of "hate"?

Here are some samples:

"I'm signing because this petition aligns perfectly with common sense. "

"This is a subject that demands respectful conversation and consideration."

"This petition is well written and said - all students' rights have to be fairly respected, not just some special group."

Come on, show us the "hate".

Oh, don't cherry pick the bigots who happen to be well spoken. How about:

"You need to respect normal student right and not brainwash them to accept LGBT value"

"Please offer choices so that a straight student has a choice not to sit through FLE"

And the top comment is by someone who frequently speaks, hatefully, at board meetings.

Ahh, so you interpret anyone who disagrees with you as "hate". Such a sad existence.

No, I interpret anyone who calls makes it clear that only straight kids are "normal" hateful. And stupid, because transgender isn't an orientation.

Pass.

If anyone knows of a counter petition, though, point me in that direction!

As written, the policy only protects the rights of the transgendered.

Where is the protection for the rights of the rest of us?

What right do you think is infringed upon? Your right to be transphobic?

Umm, the right to an appropriate changing area? If transgenders can pick their changing area, why can't everyone else?

They have an appropriate changing area? I'm sure if they are uncomfortable they can request to change elsewhere.

Not under the proposed policy. Only the transgenders get to pick and choose.

You are a fool. Transgendered kids would go to their correct GENDERED room as would yours. Based on GENDER not sex. No picking and choosing. And I'm sure if your Bigot Junior wants to throw a fit, they can change in the office.

You mean girls would go into the boys room to change? How foolish does that sound?

Much sadder to be a person who spends their time trying to find ways to put down and belittle vulnerable children.

No, I don't, and you know it. However, you've clearly got a few marbles missing and a lot of bigotry, so believe whatever you like, Princess Bigotess.

They really should be ashamed, as some of their fellow sympathizers in bashing LGBT students are on other websites threatening School Board members with physical violence. Thought they might like to know that when they put their names on these petitions they are associating with criminal thugs. I'll be checking to see which ones are arrested first.

Holy crap, are you serious? These people are batshit.

Not as crazy as the transanity group. I'm still sure who's more mentally ill - the transgenders or the supporters who insist they are not mentally ill?

I'm leaning toward the transanity supporters as more mentally ill.

Be that as it may, I don't see supporters of LGBT rights threatening School Board members and inciting others to commit physical violence against them, which is happening today on Fairfax Underground. If I were some of those SB members, I would be asking the criminal authorities to get the IP addresses of those posters and to file charges against them. This is outrageous.

+1. Especially after Kathy Smith got roughed up last year. What is the matter with people who can't solve problems without turning into schoolyard bullies?

Wait a sec, is this petition started by that fat dude who used to write that dumb chess blog some years ago? Because if so, LOLLLLL. He should have much better things to do with his time.

FairfaxUnderground is awful. It always has awful posts on it--and if there isn't an "issue" of current interest, someone makes it up. You do understand that it could be ONE poster.

Please note that Smith was "roughed up" by someone of her own party who shared her liberal political beliefs. She just happened to hold a grudge against her over a boundary issue. Probably, because Kathy had misled her. I also wonder if the even transpired as Kathy had said.

Yes, you do mean exactly that. If the "transgendered" get to pick their preferred changing room, then girls and boys are in the same dressing room.

The people with the marbles missing are the transgendered and their supporters.

Who has put down and belittled a child? Which child?

Wasn't Kathy Smith's attacker from the same political party and belief system who was pissed off because her kids had to attend two different high schools? It wasn't a conservative and it had nothing to do with sex ed or transgendered students.
