Harry and Meghan’s Christmas card

As someone with curly hair, I will posit that brushing Lilibet's hair could make it very frizzy. Or it could be that humidity makes her hair freak out a bit.

Or maybe she hates having it brushed. I did when I was her age, and I have a vivid memory of having my hair brushed and squirming around so much trying to get away that my mom whacked me with the brush. It's OK with me if Megan prefers unbrushed hair on a preschooler to that.

But regardless: You are criticizing the hair of a preschooler.

It's the parents job to make the kids presentable. It's not her fault her hair is a hot mess.

Her hair is not a hot mess. It looks perfectly fine. She looks like a 4-year-old with curly hair running around in field on a warm day.

WTF is wrong with you people?

Running around a field with those shoes on? Hardly. Look, it's just not a great effort. Either deal with it or report this thread because you're can't handle it.

More natural, less stuffy.

I find every thing the Wales family does is exactly what is expected of them. Nothing is real. Their entire lives are staged and a lie. And Prince William is probably a real ahole in real life. Just like his father super entitled, snobbish, bully. At least Charles came around and mellowed with age. I’m not sure there is hope for William, who never in his life experienced being on the back foot - his father was bullied at school while William was the pinnacle of the social hierarchy his whole life

Agree on William. I've know men like him IRL and they calcify in middle age because the decades of being told how important and smart and handsome they are just overpower whatever introspection or wisdom they'd normally gain with age. Whereas men like Harry tend to improve because years of being told what a screw up they are winds up encouraging empathy, and they can be really good fathers and partners with the right support. Meanwhile, Williams kids will all wind up terrified of him. At least their mom seems very loving and attentive, I think they likely all have good relationships with Kate.

I suspect Harry and Megan are somewhat dysfunctional because of their weird backgrounds, but they obviously get therapy and are trying to break some generational patterns and doing ok. Yes they lack self awareness about their privilege and are entitled. But overall I relate to them a bit more.

I just don't think it's a "hot mess." It's not professionally styled. It looks fine.

The girl’s hair definitely needs to be brushed and cut.

What up with the weird photoshopping his bald spot with tree leaves?

It is just such a bad Christmas card. So I looked up William’s. It looks classy while Harry’s looks so trashy.

Here is William’s:

Cultivated to project “their closeness as a family”. Barf - everything they do is ugly for the media.

Everything Meghan does is cultivated. This was meant to convey “We are a close family, relaxed, unstuffy and modern family. We are engaged parents and the opposite of the BRF.”

Neither Lillibet’s hair nor Meghan’s see through dress bother me. But what I do notice is Meghan’s grabbing Lillibet’s hands but she’s not holding Meghan’s hands back. It makes the affection between the two look fake. Archie’s squeeze on Harry looks genuine but Harry looks totally high. Either that or Meghan chose a picture with his eyes shut.

Also, I’m tired of the teasing pictures where the show the kids but the kids are half hidden. Show them, don’t show them, I don’t care. This showing of their sides and backsides is just weird. If they’re so worried about their privacy, they should just not include them in pictures.

I'm no hair stylist but my 4 yr old left the house with nice hair. She didn't always come home that way though. She's 12 now and does it herself and that's another story. But at 4, that's just part of getting ready for the day. Especially if we're doing family pics.

Yes, very awkward. And something about the pose with Meghan and her daughter makes me think she's leaning down to scold her. I know Meghan is smiling but it’s like when your kid keeps disobeying and you take them by both hands and tell them to look you in the eye and listen or else. The whole thing is awkward to me!

Scolding her was what I thought of first too; the daughter's head is down too like in shame. Otherwise I think it's okay though the see-through dress is a bit much.

Why would I report this thread? Are you criticizing her hair because she's mixed race?

Sure do. Can you explain how the socks are so white and pulled up without a wrinkle after a romp in the field?

The Meghan haters always sound so incredibly hateful, bored, and empty.

Trashing a preschooler’s looks or a family Christmas card is a prime example of low IQ mean girl behavior.

Yes, in that position it’s a good thing she wasn’t facing directly away from the camera.

I feel sure it’s Ai. It’s just too weird to be real. The kids’ clothing doesn’t make sense and is so similar to that in their other photos. The kids’ sizes too.
