| Has there already been a thread discussing in the appropriate detail , for my entertainment, why on earth no one brushed Lilibets hair for this photo? |
|
Sorry, here is the link to it if anyone hasn’t seen it

| I thought the boy’s pose was, well, awkward. Good thing he is tall enough but still, no. |

Her hair looks fine. She's a child. It's a little frizzy, but not unbrushed.
That said, I think it's so strange they insist on doing holiday cards with a family photo while refusing to show their kid's faces. I don't need to see their kid's faces, that's fine. But if you want to protect their privacy, why do the holiday card with them in it? Or why not just send a holiday car to family and close friends with a real family photo, and not do a public card at all? If they wanted to express holiday wishes publicly, they could do so without a photo. It's just such a strange choice. |
| I'm more bothered by Meghan choosing a see-through dress. I don't mind natural pictures with kids not looking perfect, but what makes this strange is that if you're going to do staged pictures like this one, yes, I would have brushed her hair! |
| Her skirt is see-through. Tres tacky! |
Yeah…. Like I get that they are trying to hide their kids faces from the public, which you can probably discuss for days if that’s reasonable or ridiculous given that they’re still trying to style them as a prince and princess of England while keeping them fully anonymous- but as a mom, I can’t say I don’t sympathize a little. But there has got to be a better way to do a family picture without showing their faces than this. |
| I think it’s a cute pic. Better than the Wales’ |
| If they want to hide their kids faces just don’t put the kids in the Card. This choice is like, aggressively reminding us that they don’t want to show their kids faces but they absolutely want us to know they have kids and they know no one will care about their card unless the kids are in it . So they’re still choosing publicity over privacy, just doing it in a really eye roll worthy way. |
Nope. Not in any way. |
Yes, very awkward. And something about the pose with Meghan and her daughter makes me think she's leaning down to scold her. I know Meghan is smiling but it’s like when your kid keeps disobeying and you take them by both hands and tell them to look you in the eye and listen or else. The whole thing is awkward to me! |
+1 Stupid looking card. |
|
I am usually team Harry and Meghan, but that is weird. What the heck is that? And how does such a weirdly staged Christmas card? What is Christmassy? Why are they all so staged?
OMG, we are loving and laughing with our kids! Yay, not fake at all in this photo, so normal! |
It’s pretty much what every celebrity with kids does. I can’t imagine why anyone would have a problem with this. Oh wait, yeah…nm |

You can see Harry's butt (or something) because his pants are sagging. And her dress is see-through. Also Harry's pose with the kid made me do a double take because, um, awkward.
These people have no eye for detail but part of me thinks she doesn't care or they do this on purpose because it makes people talk about them. |
