Harry and Meghan’s Christmas card

That said, I think it's so strange they insist on doing holiday cards with a family photo while refusing to show their kid's faces. I don't need to see their kid's faces, that's fine. But if you want to protect their privacy, why do the holiday card with them in it? Or why not just send a holiday car to family and close friends with a real family photo, and not do a public card at all? If they wanted to express holiday wishes publicly, they could do so without a photo.

It's just such a strange choice.

It’s pretty much what every celebrity with kids does. I can’t imagine why anyone would have a problem with this.

Oh wait, yeah…nm

You think pretty much every celebrity sends holiday cards with their kids awkwardly facing sideways to hide their faces? No.

Name ‘em.
You said “pretty much… every celebrity”
So name ‘em.
Show us the Christmas cards.

Okay, Sutton.

The girl’s hair definitely needs to be brushed and cut.

What up with the weird photoshopping his bald spot with tree leaves?

It is just such a bad Christmas card. So I looked up William’s. It looks classy while Harry’s looks so trashy.

Here is William’s:

That's lovely ^^. They don't feel the need to hide their kids' faces...

Whole issue. The Wales are not competing with them, but they seem to be competing with the Wales. It’s a losing battle and for what reason? It’s very Trumplike (his Obama obsession)

Yes - Harry and Meghan do very much seem to be competing with William and Kate. Meanwhile, W&K couldn't care less and are just living their lives.

Is Megan’s dress maybe a reference to the famous picture of Diana the day she forgot to wear a slip with her skirt?

She really does try to be like Diana a lot, doesn't she? It totally could be. Or it could just be a super awkward choice by her, thinking it looks good. She seems to make a lot of awkward choices. In her show she just seemed like a supremely awkward person in general.

The hiding of the kids faces is so weird to me. Just…don’t put them on the card?

At least don't hide their faces in your crotch.

At least it appears a more natural pose than what the palace puts out.

These fake casual pictures that photographers take, that are actually overly posed just look a bit ridiculous.

If you don't want to show faces, then you can do the family walking away with the camera behind them that many do. But to hide their faces by hanging their hair over their face or having them faceplant into your belly is just weird!

Very odd she wanted a transparent dress. Strange choice for someone who has a wardrobe with probably more than a million dollars in clothes!

I think it’s fine. They look like the more chill family compared to the Wales. Like the Wales’ are your MAGA family next door in a preppy place like Bethesda.

I think it looks extreely unnatural. The palace one is a normal posed picture. This one (and many 'creative' photog ones) are just fake posed and to me they look really unnatural. The whole pretend its natural but everyone has to be in exact positions with their bodies frozen in time makes it look really unnatural to me.

Yes, it's a horrible picture - her dress is see through, her hair looks greasy, Lili's hair is a mess, and the poses are all so unnatural. Very bizarre.

Yes, very awkward. And something about the pose with Meghan and her daughter makes me think she's leaning down to scold her. I know Meghan is smiling but it’s like when your kid keeps disobeying and you take them by both hands and tell them to look you in the eye and listen or else. The whole thing is awkward to me!

When I go in to touch my daughter's face, I don't bend at the waist, I kneel down to get close - I'm not sure I've ever bent at the waist like that. I think that's what is so odd about the post. I think a lot of parents would want their whole body to be close to their child, not just their face.
