That is 100% not true. In negotiations, Hamas has repeatedly offered to relinquish power. As a matter of fact, Hamas has added this to the proposals given to them by mediators, and Israel is the one to remove this condition. In its new ceasefire outline, Hamas reinserted language that Witkoff and Israel removed from the May 25 agreement that stated that Hamas would relinquish its governance of Gaza to an independent technical committee of Palestinians to administer all affairs in Gaza and to coordinate reconstruction. Hamas has consistently said it would give up power as part of a long term ceasefire deal. “An independent technocratic committee will immediately assume management of all affairs of the Gaza Strip upon the start of the agreement’s implementation, with full authority and responsibilities,” the proposal states. https://www.dropsitenews.com/p/hamas-responds-to-witkoff-gaza-proposal-israel-ceasefire-trump |

Hamas IS the government of Gaza (but not the West Bank).
Hamas - a designated terrorist organization- runs all education and schools in Gaza. Here is the education provided to all children in Gaza: |

HAMAS is a death-cult.
They literally want to die in order to become martyrs. |

Truth. The amount of propaganda and lies Netanyahu tells - and Trump and other Us supporters repeat- is chilling. The do think it’s catching up to them. Who here remembers the 1000 page responses on Israeli’s invasion of Gaza here in late 2023 / early 2024? The pro Israeli invasion camp insists acted was needed to make Jews safer. I am not seeing this. It’s sad. But entirely predictable. |

Israel has rejected every peace deal even the one it proposed. Hamas has agreed to what 4 or 6 peace deals?
Also Israel has said there is no surrender for Hamas. All Hamas will be killed on sight even if they are surrendering. Hamas is to be exterminated. |
Since when do we allow terrorist organizations to continue? No, all Palestinians aren't Hamas. But all Hamas are Palestinians. Do you think that Osama had some good ideas worth debating, too? |
| If Hamas had agreed to give up power, why are Arab countries still demanding that Hamas give up power? https://www.barrons.com/news/qatar-saudi-egypt-join-call-for-hamas-to-disarm-give-up-gaza-rule-62d33c42?refsec=topics_afp-news |

Here's the Barrons report. I appreciated that they note that the press release from the Arab countries explicitly condemns the Hamas attack of October 7, which the UN General Assembly has yet to do.
Qatar, Saudi, Egypt Join Call For Hamas To Disarm, Give Up Gaza Rule FROM AFP NEWS By Amélie BOTTOLLIER-DEPOIS, Gregory WALTON July 29, 2025, 1:40 pm EDT Arab countries including Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Egypt joined calls Tuesday for Hamas to disarm and end its rule of Gaza, in a bid to end the devastating war in the Palestinian territory. Seventeen countries plus the European Union and Arab League threw their weight behind a seven-page text agreed at a United Nations conference on reviving the two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians. "In the context of ending the war in Gaza, Hamas must end its rule in Gaza and hand over its weapons to the Palestinian Authority, with international engagement and support, in line with the objective of a sovereign and independent Palestinian State," said the declaration. It followed a call Monday by the Palestinian delegation at the United Nations for both Israel and Hamas to leave Gaza, allowing the Palestinian Authority to administer the coastal territory. The text also condemned the deadly October 7, 2023 attacks by Hamas against Israel, something the UN General Assembly has yet to do. France, which co-chaired the conference with Saudi Arabia, called the declaration "both historic and unprecedented." "For the first time, Arab countries and those in the Middle East condemn Hamas, condemn October 7, call for the disarmament of Hamas, call for its exclusion from Palestinian governance, and clearly express their intention to normalize relations with Israel in the future," said French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot. The text, co-signed by France, Britain and Canada among other western nations, also called for the possible deployment of foreign forces to stabilize Gaza after the end of hostilities. Israel and its ally the United States did not take part in the meeting. The document was issued at the second day of the conference in New York at which Britain announced it may recognize a Palestinian state in September. British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said London would proceed with recognition if Israel did not fulfil conditions including implementing a ceasefire in Gaza and allowing in sufficient aid. French President Emmanuel Macron last week said he would formally announce France's recognition of Palestinian statehood at the UN General Assembly in September. For decades, most of the global body's members have supported a two-state solution with Israel and a Palestinian state existing side-by-side. But after more than 21 months of war in Gaza, the ongoing expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank, and Israeli officials declaring designs to annex occupied territory, it is feared a Palestinian state could become geographically impossible. The current war in Gaza started after the Hamas attacks on Israel, in which more than 1,200 people were killed. Israel responded with large-scale military action that has claimed tens of thousands of Palestinian lives and destroyed most infrastructure in the enclave. United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said at the meeting Monday "the two-state solution is farther than ever before." In a statement issued late Tuesday, 15 Western nations including France and Spain, affirmed their "unwavering support to the vision of the two-state solution." Among the signatories, nine that have not yet recognized a Palestinian state expressed "willingness or positive consideration of their countries" to do so: Andorra, Australia, Canada, Finland, Luxembourg, Malta, New Zealand, Portugal, and San Marino. | Meanwhile Israel is withhold food and children are going to sleep starving tonight. Horrible. Inhumane. Morally corrupt. |
| What you see in Gaza has always been the Israeli plan. |
You make excuses. Do you like the reverse - Israeli actions against the Palestinians are done for all Jews. So attacks on Jews anywhere are justified? |
|
Yeah I’m sure Israel will stop this war tomorrow if Hamas surrenders. I’m also sure Israel respects the peaceful goverment in the West Bank and doesn’t kill or expel those “good” Palestinian people. Oh wait.
What incentive does Israel provide for Palestinians to trust them? Whether you come peace or war, they’ll still kill Palestinians Israel bombs refugee and food camps, ambulances, children, hospitals during a ceasefire period and generally avoids following international law related to combat. Look at what happened in Iran. |
Just like the idf during the Iran strikes. |

I think the war is extended by Israel because they’re facing negative migration in their own country. Many Israelis left after 10/7-reports say over a million people left. Most Israelis have dual citizenship and passport.
The Palestinians in the West Bank are being forcibly removed at greater speed now too. This is a population Olympics |
