It's disgusting. Crime has run rampant and we cannot seem to do anything about it. This is the result of years of liberal policies of trying to shut down police and give criminals more rights. And here we are. I hope all the stores move out of low income neighborhoods. Stop spending money in these areas. Move all services out. These people deserve jail and nothing more.

I suspect there will be a R landslide in the next election cycle. I've never voted R in my life but see now that the soft on crime policies were clearly wrong. These people deserve absolutely zero sympathy. They're thugs and are destroying our cities.

How can you watch that video and not see desperate people who don’t have enough food to sustain them, and are pushed to acts of desperation like we see here? People with food don’t riot. People who have hope don’t riot. People who believe the6 have a future don’t riot. These are poor, desperate people without hope. That’s what drives them to this.

I live in a very rural community in a southern state. Our police dept. and sheriff's dept. are both very small.
But, I can assure you..... if anyone tried to come here and do what they did in Philly, they wouldn't last very long. And, anyone caught pulling this crap would spend a good amount of time behind bars.... that is, when they are not working along the rural roads picking up trash under the Sheriff's watchful eye and performing other community services during their incarceration.

Nonsense. You must be hearing voices in your head. I've worked for years in very rural and urban school settings as a Title I reading teacher and special education teacher. Most kids, with the encouragement of their parents or guardians, try very hard to achieve and succeed. They are taught good values and their behaviors reflect those values. Those kids have a good future ahead of them.

I'm assuming this is satire? It has to be because no one can be this dumb. These looters are thugs pure and simple. They are not "poor desperate people". They are scum who are low class, low education, low income and low morality. What is different is now they are emboldened to commit crimes en masse in the middle of the day, night and in public because they know that they will not be prosecuted. Nothing was taken from them. They choose to be criminals because criminality is seen as the norm in these neighborhoods.

If they were starving, they'd have robbed a grocery store. Instead, they robbed liquor stores and Apple products. BS. They are drunken, classless thieves who want material goods.
