Op here. I don’t think so-my throat doesn’t hurt at all?

You could still have strep even without a soar throat. I would get checked just in case it is strep.

My DH had something recently. Was not Covid, flu or anything else they could test for. Said he hadn’t felt that bad since he first had Covid (delta). Took at least a week to feel better, and first four days he could barely move.

Op here. I have small children and I work full time. One of my kids has profound special needs and has a ton of doctor and therapy appointments.

I avail myself of daycare, therapies, etc for my children so I can work.

Work also mandated return to office, 3 days a week.

We don’t really take any precautions besides washing hands frequently. It just feels like a lost cause.

So then you know why it happened.

Well, it’s not a lost cause. I’ve been masking indoors and haven’t gotten covid yet.

And “washing hands” is nothing but theatre for COVID.

I’d rather take a risk with Covid than continue
masking. We’ve traveled extensively, worked out at gyms, dined in dozens of restaurants and had Covid once. It was like a cold. YMMV.

Thanks you for your meaningless anecdote.

She had a child with special needs and she’s not bothering to mask anywhere. Sorry, but I’m not going to feel empathetic for people who aren’t masking and are getting COVID over and over.

OP doesn't have covid, no one is getting covid "over and over" more than twice unless they have an immune system issue.

Wearing N95 for life isn't an option for sane people.

What? Yes, they are.

What on earth could this be?

Welcome to hand, foot, and mouth disease for adults.

Op here. I don’t think it’s HFM because the bumps are flesh colored. When my kids had HFM, the bumps were red.

One of my kids has had a cough and vomiting for the last week but no rash or fever.

When I had adult HFM, I had flesh colored bumps. It SUCKED. I'm sorry. But it's a virus and it will go away. You need to rest. Find a way, hire someone, whatever.

Same. And it flattened me. It’s miserable to get as an adult.

Feel better soon. This is why you should continue to mask indoors and take basic precautions. Its not a lost cause.

Yes! Keep on masking. You need to wear a N95 whenever you are in ANY public place if you want to avoid getting sick. I think it seems there is something wrong with your immune system since you keep getting COVID. Even if there isn't something wrong with your immune system you should tell everyone that you are AT RISK. You could go to the doctor, but asking here is definitely safer since you don't have to go to a dirty doctor's office or hospital.

Yeah no. I live in a red state and lots of people are absolutely getting covid more than twice even if they don't have immune issues.

She's on here whining about getting sick all the time. Yet she isn't masking inside. She's not using the main tool she could be using to prevent this.

There are other measures she could be taking as well. She could run hepa filters in her house and open windows in her house and car to lessen the risk of intra household infections. Use Merv 13 filters in her CAC, etc. Try these, OP, if you aren't already and you actually want to decrease your risk of being sick all the time (as opposed to just complaining about it while doing nothing to prevent it).

I hope you feel better soon OP, please contact your Dr!

Much like the rest of us who still.mask, it sounds like your immune system is sending you the message you still need to mask indoors in public.

I also live in a red state, and I don't know anyone who has had covid more than twice. Everyone I know who got it twice had it much milder the second time. This is the norm. The only people I know who still wear masks are nutters who spend too much time on Twitter in a strange echo chamber of health anxiety.

OP didnt say she gets sick "all the time." She has had covid twice, and now has another virus. Presumably this is 3 bad illnesses over 3 years. That's pretty standard if you have little kids.

After 6 pages of OP posting responses that seem quite immature and almost like stirring the pot, I've concluded OP is a troll.

OP is not a troll, but I do hope returns for an update after a doctor’s visit.
Feel better, OP!
