I just posted, but as a mom who has a child with SN I have to say shame on anyone who is not empathetic to OP. The stress of keeping your child safe, all the appointments, all the efforts to just reach milestones most of you take for granted and endless other things can really do you in.
She had a child with special needs and she’s not bothering to mask anywhere. Sorry, but I’m not going to feel empathetic for people who aren’t masking and are getting COVID over and over.
OP doesn't have covid, no one is getting covid "over and over" more than twice unless they have an immune system issue. Wearing N95 for life isn't an option for sane people.
Yeah no. I live in a red state and lots of people are absolutely getting covid more than twice even if they don't have immune issues. She's on here whining about getting sick all the time. Yet she isn't masking inside. She's not using the main tool she could be using to prevent this. There are other measures she could be taking as well. She could run hepa filters in her house and open windows in her house and car to lessen the risk of intra household infections. Use Merv 13 filters in her CAC, etc. Try these, OP, if you aren't already and you actually want to decrease your risk of being sick all the time (as opposed to just complaining about it while doing nothing to prevent it).
I also live in a red state, and I don't know anyone who has had covid more than twice. Everyone I know who got it twice had it much milder the second time. This is the norm. The only people I know who still wear masks are nutters who spend too much time on Twitter in a strange echo chamber of health anxiety. OP didnt say she gets sick "all the time." She has had covid twice, and now has another virus. Presumably this is 3 bad illnesses over 3 years. That's pretty standard if you have little kids.
