She is a target for being young, blond, pretty. Parents did not figure that out?

No 99 percent of theses are home grown friends or person knew her

Regardless, no 16 year old should be out at midnight getting drunk at this type of gathering. Foolish and dangerous.

While I agree with you, many teenagers do similar things without any serious consequences. It's probable that there were dozens of other girls at the same party doing the same thing who went home safely. A lot of us can say "There but for the grace of God go I" or "That could so easily have been my daughter." So, lets save the victim blaming.

It's not victim blaming to encourage safe practices. We do a terrible injustice to our young men and women when we let them think it's okay and safe to be out late at night, walk alone, and/or get drunk.

The roads up there are twisty, steep mountain roads with no lighting. Very easy to crash your car into a ravine and not be found for a week or more. Especially if you’re drunk.

No victim blaming. Blaming the guardians. Blaming the criminals

I cannot imagine how the mother could sleep through the night.

Do you guys think it's victim blaming to say don't have cocaine in your system and drive?? How about drivers who speed at 90 to 125 mph and hurt themselves and spend years in jail? It's common sense to make good safety decisions.

Sounds similar to Alonzo Brooks disappearance. Hopefully, she's found safe.

Why do “loving” parents allow this?

A parents worst nightmare. I would feel perfectly ok not letting my teen go to a large party like this.

Heartbreaking. Doesn't sound like it will end well at all. Hoping its something other than what it appears.

News Flash:
You NEVER know how ANY party will evolve.

James Corden "re-tweeted" a poster about her missing on his Instagram and I immediately thought "What about all the missing girls of color? Who's caring about them?" And I fear the answer is "nobody except their families."

Enough already. So tired of you banging on your drum.

Where are the parents?

Really? She's 16, not 12

And??? She’s 16 AND dependent on her parents. When kids get out of mama’s house, they can do whatever they want. Parents who abdicate their responsibilities are totally nuts.

200 to 300 kids partying and drinking at a park area at midnight is far more likely to not end well than some other types of parties.

Most sex trafficking victims are NOT blonde white girls
