A parents worst nightmare. I would feel perfectly ok not letting my teen go to a large party like this. Heartbreaking. Doesn't sound like it will end well at all. Hoping its something other than what it appears. |

16 year old with tattoos, piercings, out at 12:30 am in the woods at a party with 300 other kids, driving new looking car and nobody knows where she went?
Where are the parents? |
Probably asleep unaware their teen snuck out or thinking they were somewhere else because their kid lied. Have you parented a teen? Stop. |
| Did anyone watch the Woodstock 99 documentary where they feature a woman who was 14 when she went? 14! To an overnight party concert! My DH and I were shocked. We're only 1 episode in so I don't know if anyone acknowledges this was insane. |
| Still amplifying these types of things no matter how far flung and remote in possibility versus anything local...got it. |
| Missing white blonde female? |
You stop. You're just making things up. The mom knew she was at the party and was in fact texting with her daughter shortly before she vanished from the party. She told her mom she was coming home soon and when mom woke up she realized she never did. |
The only reason we are hearing about it. She's a pretty, blonde woman. I hope she's found safe and alive. |
The idea that we only hear about missing white people is about 20 years old. Stop holding on to the past. We hear about everyone nowadays. |
SO many parents are like that now. My H is one of them. The philosophy is “they’re going to do it anyway, I want them to feel comfortable telling me in case something happens”. Well, something did happen and mom knowing about the party didn’t do sh!t to save her. Your kids don’t need a friend, they need a PARENT. |
James Corden "re-tweeted" a poster about her missing on his Instagram and I immediately thought "What about all the missing girls of color? Who's caring about them?" And I fear the answer is "nobody except their families." |

Didn’t this happen in Mare of Eastown?
Scary though 😞 |
| It’s normal to have big outdoor parties like this in N. Cal. And probably mentally healthy for kids too. |
He’s not wrong. At least this mom knows where her daughter was and around what time she disappeared. She wouldn’t if the girl snuck out. |

Sex traffickers probably have her. She is either dead or sold to someone in a third world country.
She is a target for being young, blond, pretty. Parents did not figure that out? |
