I'm thankful we have two girls because the circumcision debate would have taken a toll on our marriage.
Dh would have wanted to (he is) I was vehemently against it |
Is he a Jew? |
Was that your experience when you first blew an uncut penis? |
| Yes. Never really thought much about it. DH is, and while I don't have the largest sample size, I've never been with a man who wasn't, so it seemed/still seems normal to me. The procedure was no big deal at all. No regrets. Honestly not even something I've thought about since. |
Hmm. Tell us more about why you wanted to make your son’s penis look sexier. |
| I did. Basically, I let my husband decide (he's got this equipment, I don't) and that was what he chose. Done. |
Yep |
Same. But it was still a tough decision. |
| No. It reduces sensitivity (and pleasure, especially later in life) and also what if something went wrong in the surgery? Unlikely but if so then I couldn’t explain to my boy that he’s mutilated because we wanted his penis to look sexier. |
| I was born and grew up in a country where boys are not circumcised so I dated many men and saw lots of penises. So because of that, I felt very strongly to circumcise my son for esthetic reasons. He is 7 and I am very glad I did it. |
Damn lots of penises. Tell us more please |
+1 |
Haha The thing is I know how uncircumcised penises look like in reality ( not just Google photos) so I wanted my son to be circumcised and I am glad i did it when he was a baby. |
“I didn’t want my son to have a penis that I wouldn’t want to have sex with” |
That’s slowly changing: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nhds/9circumcision/2007circ9_regionracetrend.pdf |
