I grew up in a wealthy neighborhood and the gossip about the married women/men cheaters was never flattering. The wife that banged half the Club or the husband that knocked up the nanny. The woman banging the pool guy or the man boning his assistant. The ones that frequented prostitutes. I don’t know why people think WASPs don’t gossip about this and think poorly of cheaters/liars. It’s a running joke at highball hour.

You took a screenshot of their private conversation, hacked into his phone, hacked into his FB and impersonated him in a post to many people? Understood you were angry but - isn’t all that illegal? I’m surprised, even though what they did was terrible, if that wasn’t used against you?

I think the best “revenge” is to take the high road on all accounts. The described behavior, if true, could have the effect of making the betrayed spouse look even worse than the cheating spouse and the AP. Far better to be the adult in an otherwise juvenile situation.

A friend of mine who lived in Atlanta was shot and killed in the parking lot of his kid’s daycare after he did drop off by his wife’s AP (who also happened to be her boss). My friend had found out about the affair and apparently they were talking about separating so the AP killed the husband. It was awful. To add to the tragedy the wife was only found guilty of perjury (for lying about the affair).

And why did the male AP kill the betrayed H spouse if the H spouse wanted to separate from the wife AP? Wouldn’t that be a “good thing” (as opposed to the betrayed H spouse blowing up the male AP’s life)? The male AP effectively blew up his own life and everyone else’s.

1) it was alleged the wife was in on the shooting and conspired with her lover to shoot her husband, and asked him to do it.

2) they wanted the husband gone for custody. She didn’t want to share custody.

She went to jail for perjury and obstructing justice and now is out. The entire situation was more than awful and like something out of a bad lifetime movie.

There are several articles for years on that Atlanta case and some podcasts on it.

We will probably never know whether the husband knew of the affair although it’s suspected he did and wanted to work it out. I think the wife was in on it.
