But how much debt, all told, are you in? So many people are buying their own product on credit cards to drive up numbers. It's a house of cards. |
I don't believe anyone involved in one of these makes 6 figures SOLELY off of their own sales, or even primarily, without a majority of their income coming from incentives for growing the pyramid beneath them. No way. What "business" does this? |
I might. Are there good snacks? Wine? |

This. I support my one friend who owns an ACTUAL business. If the "job" involves buying inventory and building a downline, you are in a pyramid scheme, not a business! |
This. The "make" money by suckering other people into signing up to "sell" junk to other people. The biggest red flag of all is when you make more money signing people up to sell below you. THAT IS A PYRAMID! |
No, you don't. |
Hahaha excellent Hun impersonation. Well done. |
I feel you. |

I enjoy going to the MLM parties where the products are pretty reasonable and I like them, such as Thirty-One. It's a lot of fun getting together to socialize and I enjoy the shopping through their catalog. It's like a trip to the mall except with refreshments and lots of fun conversation. I also used to like Silpada parties before Avon bought them because I loved shopping their jewelry, even though it was pricier. And Pampered Chef because there was always some kitchen item we were in need of on the lower-price end. |
There are a couple of pampered chef products that I think are very good. After several years of use a foster broke one and tried using a non-temperature off brand. Not nearly as good! I’m not hosting parties but I occasionally buy. |
You don’t see men tearing each other’s businesses down! They don’t make snide comments about their friends successful business or critique their hardworking friend. So let’s not do that to each other |
Men rarely do MLMs. There is a reason for that. |
The thread is tearing down MLMs which prey on women. |
