Maybe PP was poking fun of that lady, rather than being serious? |

Ok, start a real business. |
OP here. I agree with a PP that the Realtor Moms are just as bad. The latest for me is my 60 year old neighbor’s 30-something daughter (who is married with kids and lives elsewhere) is using her poor mother to sell Usbourne books virtually to all her mother’s email contacts. And I’m sure most of my older neighbors (my street skews kinda old, lots of original owners) are going to spend a ton of money just because the 60 year old is a sweet lady. |
Hey, tupperware was pretty awesome. A quality product that perhaps is slowly killing me with BPA |
Has anyone else watched On Becoming a God in Central Florida? I did on the rec of someone on this site, and it was great! On showtime.
I definitely buy from friends who are small business owners-happy to buy lovely knits goods or a delicious tres leches cake, attend your yoga class, or hire you as my realtor if you have a good record, but buying a product that someone is selling with a tiny margin knowing that the only people who make real money are those at the top? No thank you. Someone recently tried to recruit me to sell weight loss wraps. Are you f-ing kiddding me? so ridiculous. And the Beauty Counter ladies are relentless. |
Sorry OP but I use these as an excuse to get wasted and chat. Getting wasted means I end up buying a few things but they are, ultimately, fun. |
I pop 4mg of Xanax, drink three shooters in my car beforehand, and then sip wine and walk around the party. It’s fun, I’m in my own world, and once the husband of the party host put his hand up my skirt (and I liked it). Lots of memories from MLM in person parties, hopefully they return soon. |
Thankfully I have not received any but we have cut our travel right back - and also other holiday events we used to enjoy. We will do outside stuff though. |
😂😂😂 Oh sure getting molested by your friend’s hubby while stoned is so fuuuuun! |
Tupperware parties in the seventies were just awesome. At the time Rubbermaid products did not exist so there was zero competition. The games were a blast and the food, prizes and conversations were lovely. And at the time, everyone had Tupperware. Our mothers had cabinets full of the stuff. Like that famous pitcher. lol. I loved the kid’s stuff like the cool toys Pop-A-Lot. |
Falling victim to an MLM scam is not being a businesswoman. I'm not buying that crap to support a company that makes its profits preying on and guilting women. I'm also not going to buy something and give the MLM victim false hope that it'll work. |
I don’t see why everyone has to hate on women owned businesses |
