They aren't women owned businesses. They are predatory business practices that lure women into taking advantage of their friends and then ultimately losing money. |
no, it’s a business, built from the ground up, owned and managed by women. That is a woman-owned business. |
It may be owned by A woman, but it’s certainly not the woman you are buying from. |
NO WE DON’T!!!!!!!!!! |
Says the MLM consultant. Why do you think begging for money is support? |

Looks like someone drank the Kool-aid. You're a customer/prey, not a business owner. And based on basic stats on MLMs, you're likely to be among the over 90% who lose money. |
They made a great product that is way better than Rubbermaid. I still have these colored tumblers with lids that have sippy spouts if you wanted to snap those on. They are great |
OMG, same. It's the "brings me to tears" poster. |
Fantastic show. Also why can’t people just have a party. Do they know you can just email your friends and say “come over for snacks and drinks” And then gather and enjoy each other? |
I'd drop everything to go to that party. |
Too funny. Cut it out guys. People might think you are serious. |
Pp referred to ladies peddling beauty counter as relentless / and I had not really connected the dots (have friend who is very sweet and artistic who sells it but my DD just did not like it and it is a bit pricey for me so I declined to buy more).
Thought I’d check reviews online and sure enough there were some terrible reviews about BC (also some good ones). Here is a balanced review that also mentions why many women sell it to their friends in good faith … it does support the thesis that a man at the top of the MLM is the one raking in the dough … https://www.thehealthymaven.com/beautycounter-review/ |
Yes, thank goodness this is what my close friends do. But I still get invited into 1-2 MLM things per year. Thankfully they have been mostly virtual (even before Covid) so easier to ignore. |
