Landon and Prep historically always play each other tough. You can throw out the records in this game.
Overall, I was impressed with Bullis last night in their game against Prep. They dominated from start to finish in every aspect of the game. |

Bullis lost a ton of kids from last year and still had no problem with Prep.
The drain to Gonzaga is really evident these days. I thought Prep was talking about their incredible 2018 and 2019 kids. They looked terrible last night. |

While Bullis did graduate a lot in 2016, four of their starters this year, are transfers from other teams. The success of their program will be based upon who they bring in during the off-season. Take away the transfers from this offseason and Bullis is no better than Prep.
Bullis lacrosse, similar to their football team, will soon become a renegade program. Their head football coach openly poaches kids from other programs and their lacrosse staff looks to be following in their football Steps. |

Some colleges do this to goose up enrollment enthusiasm & raise notoriety to their university as well. Furman, Quinnipiac, Bryant & some others need a sports draw to attract full pay enrollees. If Bullis has cast it's lot to be the Oak Hill Academy for lacrosse, so be it. They're pretty open about it. But to the extent Bullis is intent on that, it just drowns out the relevance of STA even showing up for games now. Right now there are publics in NoVa & MoCo that could dispense of STA easily. Some of it is also coaching. Love or hate Bullis, they have a good program. What can the STA coach do aside from having their admissions director/lacrosse coach beg his college playing connections at Yale to get a kid in over his lacrosse level head once every few years? STA should drop down to the league that has Potomac, Flint Hill, etc. |

| Prep will be very good next year. Bullis and Landon can enjoy the success they are having this season and last, but with Prep's 2020's and 2019's, I do see them being the team to beat in the Spring of 2018. |

| STA should drop down into the MAC and maybe be replaced by Potomac who is now putting a greater emphasis on all sports programs. |

My son's 7th grade lacrosse team is pretty strong and I know for a fact that many boys will be going to Prep. I think this makes them a lock to win the IAC in 2022! So Landon enjoy your #1 in the country now but in 6 years Prep will reign!
