Last time a DC area team ranked #1 in the Nation was Prep in 2006.
Landon had teams finish #1 in the Nation in 1999, 2001, and 2002 I believe. |

Agreed. And love or hate Bullis, Prep, [fill in the blank], the more DMV teams gain national recognition, the better for all of DMV lacrosse. |

Might make sense to switch the numbers? Bullis 13 Prep 8 Landon 12 STA 4 I've seen Prep play, they are the real deal. I've heard that STA is vastly improved. But I just don't see them getting 8 goals against the Bears. |

Prep beats Bullis and sets up a showdown next week with rival Landon.
Landon will struggle against STA today and wins 9-6. |

| Landon is limping after a brutal schedule. Down 3 or 4 starters including goalie so there are no gimmes at this point. STA will be a struggle. And Prep is not going to beat Bullis. Maybe next year when Trippi and some other seniors are gone. |
