Me too. Murder, violence, threat, and lies is the “pro life” M.O. and has been for years. The truth is that these cockroaches and cowards and terrorists are operating in plain sight. Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could get our law enforcement officials to actually do something besides just crack the heads of peaceful human rights protestors? |
The police haven’t seemed to care about fifty years of forced birthers’ violence and terrorism. |
| And if there is a federal abortion ban the 10 year olds will need to go to Canada and Mexico for abortions. |

Just leave it to the state's. B******* is coming from people who forget that blacks were being actively killed in the '50s just for being black and looking at a white woman. And states and cities were doing nothing because in the South crap like this was okay. Millions of black men should still be alive today, and many white men should still be in prison today for murder. You get that Emmett till will be in his '80s if he wasn't savagely beaten and shot as a 14-year-old. Let that sink in. That's younger than my freaking grandma.
States 100% should not get to determine what rights its citizens have as human beings. Cuz they've proven time and time again. They only care about white men. |

I would argue that ALL these cases are rape. A child under 15 should not be considered able to give consent.
"Across Ohio, 52 girls under the age of 15 obtained abortions in 2020, including 11 from Cuyahoga County, according to the Ohio Department of Health’s most recent report on abortions. Since 2010, more than 1,000 girls in Ohio under the age of 15 had the procedures. The report doesn’t say if the abortions were performed because of rape." |
I know. I don't get this, either. Unable to consent means, well, you can't consent. It's nonconsensual by definition. It's rape. That being said, different states have different consent laws, and it can be under different age guidelines if the partner is within a certain age (usually 1-3 years) -- e.g., Utah has a "Romeo and Juliet" exemption for those close in age. I generally go with the state law, just for clarity. But yes, WTF is up with claiming an impregnated elementary schooler or middle schooler got pregnant consensually? |

It is. For anyone who didn't click:
I'm a pediatrician. You can't diagnose a pregnancy in a child that is not brought into office. When they are finally brought in, it's not by six weeks, or eight, of even ten. Not usually. This happens ALL THE TIME. And yes, CPS gets involved, and yes, they go after the perpetrator when he can be identified. But there are so many kids in horrible situations. Let me tell you something -- bringing more children into these situations isn't going to decrease the numbers of children raped, either. From the same article:
Another thing that angers me is all the forced birthers I see speaking smugly about how the pregnancy wouldn't have occurred if there were better choices made, and now they have to deal with it. The abortion stats that rile up these groups are full of children who were raped, people with medical problems, etc. That f'ing smugness? Choke on it. |
Women, and by extension girls, aren’t people in the GOP. Of course they shame child rape victims. What else would those perverted monsters do. |
