Duh |
People in these places prefer to wash by hand because it’s less expensive to pay someone to do it. Water quality is often poor so appliances that are very expensive in the first place don’t perform optimally and often break. Environmental concerns are not the main motivation. |
There's something off about any thread that gets to more than 10 pages. |
I thought the same too. She also called tea bags as tea packets which is usually done in South Asia |
Op you very clearly stated before that this is your second time in Bangladesh. |
Please stop the cross examination... She's not on trial. If she gets facts about Bangladesh wrong, I'd be interested to hear your corrections. Just how perfectly would you be writing in her position |
Sock puppet. |
I'm beginning to wonder if she's actually a child who has to do this for some kind of assignment. OP has told us that she's a bit simple, but I don't understand days of posting, complaining about the reaction she's getting, and then continuing to post. I think we've all posted something dumb that we regretted once we saw the responses. Most of us just move on at that point and hope the thread dies. |
Ask Jeff, I'm in Boston. |
That's the case in most of the world. China, Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, Vietnam, Iran, etc. Why do you think foreigners buy so many American houses and land? |
I'm saying that's why it's cheaper. The title is worth less. Other Western countries don't let people buy up their land. |
lol. U again?! |
The Daily Star (the largest English-language newspaper in Bangladesh) should do a human interest story on this thread. |
Haven’t read this thread in entirety but it reads like a travel journal my 4th grader had to put together at GDS on various Ancient Cultures.
She’d just google search highlights or other peoples stories and write them in to her time travel journal. Easy peasy. |
Hahahahah!!! So true. |
