From what I heard an increasing number of TSA screeners are calling in sick. Can't blame, they're among the lowest paid of Federal employees the airports they work tend to be in areas with higher COL.

Actually, it would be fantastic if air traffic controllers & TSA agents went on strike over the #TrunpShutdown. It would serve the orange toddler right and would also end the shutdown immediately. There’s no one left to hire for many of these jobs AND no money to hire them.

Has anyone floated this idea with the appropriate parties? I think it is a worthwhile pursuit, even if painful and quite possibly a blow to our economy.

Thankfully, the market doesn’t seem to care about the shutdown, up another 100 plus points today.
