How much weight have you gained from 1 year ago?

But, I think I look hotter, so that's good.

If it's any consolation, I never lose weight from BBG but DH and friends always notice that I look much better when I'm doing it regularly.

I'm up about 10 from a year ago but was just getting back from a tropical vacation that I had dieted aggressively for...

I never weighed myself to find out how much I gained in the beginning, but I’ve lost 20-30 pounds since mid-pandemic. Can’t wait for summer!

I was up but am now pretty much back to where I started. So, down from my peak but also frustratingly same as last year even through I run and work out a lot. It is very obviously the food and the wine. I do look more toned though so that's something.

Me too. I don't go to the gym or do hot yoga anymore so the tone has gone to hell. Also sharp intake of cake/sweets to counteract the stress of the last year = flabbier all around even though I'm the same weight.

I work out a lot, take walks, but I can’t seem to make up the difference of moving less because I don’t go anywhere any more. I have to do so much damn random movement

Same but way more muscle. Started lifting weights at home to combat stress/anxiety and have gotten into excellent shape.

I've fluctuated between 140 and 135 over the last 12 months. Last February I was 135, and this February I am 135. I track my weight and what I eat daily so it's cool to be able to look back over the past year at the fluctuations.

Up 7-10 lbs depending on the day. I'm still thin by most people's standards but I see a layer of "fluff" all over. Working from home means I am not moving nearly as much as I used to. I'm used to standing up a lot more when I'm at work giving presentations (as opposed to on Zoom) and walking around the campus more. It's now hard for me to close my Apple Watch rings unless I do at least a 30 min workout. But I have back problems so I have to be careful about balancing my workouts with rest/gentle activity.

I am a former athlete and I've been working out 4-5 days per week during the pandemic. But I know what my body responds to best in terms of maintaining weight and I'm not doing it right now. I need to eat less, do more non-exercise movement especially on rest days, and have a better balance of weights vs. cardio. Right now a lot of my workouts are in an outdoor group fitness setting that is more focused on weights. It's been great for my strength and core stability but I need more high intensity cardio. I am waiting until I get the vaccine to go back to OTF. I can't wait. That workout seems to have the magic formula for me. Warmer weather should help too. I wasn't as heavy in the fall when I was walking and running outside more.

In April 2019 I was 190 lbs and 6 months post partum. January 2020 I was down to 166. The lowest I got in 2020 was 158 (July, then gained a bit and then dropped to 158 in September). Now I'm at 166, exactly where I was a year ago. Frankly I'm relieved I don't weigh more than I did a year ago. My coping mechanism is definitely food.
