Up 7-10 lbs depending on the day. I'm still thin by most people's standards but I see a layer of "fluff" all over. Working from home means I am not moving nearly as much as I used to. I'm used to standing up a lot more when I'm at work giving presentations (as opposed to on Zoom) and walking around the campus more. It's now hard for me to close my Apple Watch rings unless I do at least a 30 min workout. But I have back problems so I have to be careful about balancing my workouts with rest/gentle activity. I am a former athlete and I've been working out 4-5 days per week during the pandemic. But I know what my body responds to best in terms of maintaining weight and I'm not doing it right now. I need to eat less, do more non-exercise movement especially on rest days, and have a better balance of weights vs. cardio. Right now a lot of my workouts are in an outdoor group fitness setting that is more focused on weights. It's been great for my strength and core stability but I need more high intensity cardio. I am waiting until I get the vaccine to go back to OTF. I can't wait. That workout seems to have the magic formula for me. Warmer weather should help too. I wasn't as heavy in the fall when I was walking and running outside more.
