The ones in remote locations are the exception: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cracker_Barrel#Locations,_service,_and_decor |
What is a “ Cracker Barrel” literally anyway? Is it literally named after a barrel of crackers? |
DISTRACTION FROM EPSTEIN FILES! |
I hear they operate a child trafficking ring from the CB basements. |
Yes. A long long time ago country stores sold soda crackers (saltines) out of big barrels. And people would gather around the barrel of crackers to chit chat, like the office water cooler. |
Are you really letting a Cracker Barrel rebrand get you this worked up? Like, seriously? Constantly looking for trivial things to be outraged about must be exhausting. What an unfulfilling life. |
I figure Cracker Barrel will eventually diminish as Bob Evans restaurants have and before that, Stuckey’s. |
The menu doesn't look that bad, but it's been reported that the quality has dropped over the past five years.
I think now they have instant grits. |
Slavery decor?? It was a Tennessee themed country style store with country style food. |
I think it should be renamed to Barrel of Crack |
You would know. |
Those are both stupid AF. Please tell your friend. |
WTF are you talking about? Do you know how insane you sound? |
DP - no, it's YOU who doesn't understand and is trying to force a completely fake narrative. There was no "slavery decor," whatever that's supposed to mean. Here's a picture of a typical CB, pre-change. It's just decorated to look like an old country store. Get over yourself. ![]() |
+1 We go to Cracker Barrel on road trips, and from the people out front enjoying the rocking chairs to the customers inside, they all more or less resemble the old guy on the logo - and that goes for the white AND black people (and everyone in between) who frequent CB. This CEO truly does not know her market. Or more plausibly, she doesn't care. ![]() |
