What going on with Cracker Barrel ?

A mall cafeteria is exactly what it looks like! They need to freshen up the interior. They can do that by decluttering a little bit without removing the character from the store.

the food is terrible but MAGA thinks it is fine dining.

Exactly. Liberals are rich and sophisticated with a more refined palate. It's important to emphasize this, so that people will find the democratic party aspirational and elite.

Wait what white guy? There was an old white guy in the logo?!?

The food sucks but I do like the general store in the front of the restaurant. Get rid of the old white gut that I never even noticed but not the old times country store in the front.

Relative to the other offerings in places where you can find Cracker Barrel, the food is solid. It has grilled fish and meat options and veggie and fruit options. This might seem basic, but when the other options in town are a fried chicken joint, a Pizza Hut, and a gas station, it's a relief to find a Cracker Barrel. People who trash it are generally comparing it to restaurants in cities, and that isn't a fair comparison. Cracker Barrel needs to appeal to rural people with a hearty diet in addition to travelers who are looking for something more nutritious than Chick fil A. For what it is and the niche it fills, they do a good job.

+1 people who live in rural areas do not have a lot of food variety. My grandparents live in a small city in eastern NC, and the restaurants consists of national chains like Cracker Barrel, the local cheap Mexican restaurant, an Italian restaurant owned by El Salvadorians, and a bunch of barbecue spots. When they come and visit I take them to silver diner, they don’t like upscale or unknown food. They go to Cracker Barrel all the time back home.

Why go to CB when you can go to a local restaurant that is probably cheaper and has better food?

It's a great, safe rest stop when traveling with grassy areas for those with dogs, pretty good breakfast food, clean restrooms, and for some, fun to look around the country store.

Oh, honey, you clearly haven't seen who eats at Cracker Barrel. Not just MAGA by any stretch.

So happy to hear this.

For the love of god, WHY?

Because I liked the old logo? Is that ok with you? JFC.

+1 It has more character. Represents the beloved uncle of the founder and old timey Tennessee country stores which inspired the uniqueness of the Cracker Barrel restaurant chain. There was absolutely no need to change to a bland, boring orange sign that a first grader could have designed.

I would argue that it is rural/suburban vs urban than it is about MAGA. I’m the poster who brought up my grandparents in NC and they are old country churchy Black people who are not MAGA.

Styles change. Corporate logos change. I know conservatives hate change but extending that to graphic design is really…something.

Oh, please. Design change? Graphic design? It wasn't even clever or artistic. Just a forgettable, bland orange shape with words on it. Hope no "artist" got paid for it!

Apparently they reverted back to the old logo after Trump told them to admit defeat. I'm all for MAGA eating there. They can't stand change or diversity, so they don't deserve to eat at Chinese or Thai or Mexican places. Enjoy your greasy overpriced eggs at Cracker Barrel where you belong.

I hope you're not really as ignorant as you sound. You think Trump voters in larger cities don't eat at a variety of restaurants, including those you mentioned? You need to get out more.
