Man working in daycare center

Anonymous
Most people aren’t surprised when men have been charged with rape of little children in daycares.

It’s simply a peculiar thing if a man wants to be diapering or toileting young children.

Child porn is way too rampant in American culture right now. What parent wants to sacrifice their child’s safety?

Is it that they had an unvetted substitute? That's real, but I also think that a male substitute operating in full view of *his own wife* is probably the least likely person to abuse your child.

Is it that he's a man in general? Well, that's on you. If you can't imagine a man in a caregiving role, and don't want men to model that for boy and girl children, then you will inherit the world you've built.

I don’t think that’s even close to true?

What is this person even talking about?

Didn’t that one lady with a home daycare murder her husband after finding out he was molesting kids there?

You do realize that most abuses in daycares happen at the hands of women, right?

Name one single female who sex abused her daycare children in the DMV area.

Zero.

So you stay at home to protect your children from your husband at all times, right? don't let him change any diapers!!!!

I’ll be sure to tell my son that when he grows up he’s going to be a sexual predator like his dad and men in general. Thanks for the info!

PP's post reflects sexism against men to the highest degree. Sadly, it probably reflects that she was molested my the "men" in her life. I feel sorry for her as I am one of the <75% of middle aged females who made it to adulthood without being molested. I actually had a lot of great men involved in my life, including relatives, coaches, church leaders, friends' fathers, neighbors, and teachers. I wouldn't have even gone to grad school if it wasn't for one of my male professors.

i love the qualifier. What does it matter where they are? And sex abuse is just one form of abuse,

NP. I mean…if you’re talking about ANY form of abuse that happens at a daycare, then of course the offenders are more likely to be female, because like 99% of daycare workers are female.

We have cameras in our toddler daughters daycare room. We saw a strange man in the room and he was changing her diaper. We called and the manager said that they had too many call outs and the man was her main teachers spouse.

I’ve never met this man. As far as I know he was never background checked.

Is this appropriate to you?

Personally we would NOT choose a center with a male teacher due to statistics. I know others feel differently but I do feel like we have the right to know beforehand.

A white Christian male hell no

Statistically they are the number one abusers of kids not drag queens Maga morons

OP the fact your place did this my kid would not return even for one day completely unacceptable and I would report them for an un licensed teacher in that room touching your kid

+1 to the bolded. It has nothing to do with the caregiver's genitalia or chromosomes.

That said the title has everything to do with sexism.

I understand the concern about statistics, but it’s pretty discriminatory. Think about if you’d have the same rule for race etc.

No race is responsible for 99% of sexual assault. It’s absurd that people think statistics have to be ignored if they reveal uncomfortable facts. It is not rational to ignore statistics.

Well, if you look at prison stats one can conclude black people are responsible for most of the crimes. Same mental gymnastics. One wouldn't conclude something about the criminal justice system being racist if you look only at prison stats.

Uhh yeah… when a kid can *TALK*?! When you can have logical conversations with them about good touch/bad touch, when their reasoning centers are more established? How is this a question?

Look how well that ability to *TALK* worked out for the little boys at Penn State.

Exactly! But all of these women posting about NEVER allowing a man to watch their child don't bat an eye if it's a woman. They have no problem thinking that all men are pedophiles but somehow turn a blind eye to the possible and likely abuse of female daycare workers.

This thread is about strange men getting access to your child at daycare.

No, it's about misandry disguised as "protecting the children."

This. Then come back here to complain that you have all the kid responsibility at home AND have to work FT. This is how women perpetuate sexism.
