University of Alabama is way out of the top 100 - but it is in the same top 10 list for nursing as Duke, U Penn, & Johns Hopkins!

Tisch school for arts, the only school worth paying tuition at NYU.

A number of schools are considered strong in CS, but not necessarily overall, CU Boulder, Stony Brook, UMass, Arizona State, UC Santa Cruz and Utah.

Kind of the reverse of what you're asking Op, but interesting ... You can become a dental hygienist at UNC Chapel Hill, a BS undergrad degree.

Also Cal Poly SLO for Wine & Viticulture

Cal poly and UC Davis - neither are "low ranked" schools you need to catch up.

It’s UAB and not the main campus in Tuscaloosa.

We are looking for somewhere that my child can Dance and do Kinesiology/Exercise Science (hasn't decided on major/minor yet-hoping to blend them), so I have looked across the country at Dance programs.

Tisch is a highly sought after Dance program, as well as Fordham (works with Ailey) and Marymount Manhattan.

Arizona, Oklahoma, Utah and Indiana are the top public schools for this.

Locally, Towson, GMU, VCU and even little Goucher are well regarded (none of these are on my child's list, though, as the program type and/or mix of other classes aren't right)

My child's list would look insane to most on here, but it fits her needs.

One of the schools though that almost everyone on the Dance parent board I am part of applies to is Dean College. It's a small little college in MA with a well respected dance program, and several of their other departments (communications and exercise science for sure) get to work/intern with the Patriots organization because the stadium is right down the road.

Haha - I was about to say given the amount of shade Cornell gets on DCUM (appearing to be low ranked for this gaggle), it has a number of top ranked programs.

I appreciate these nuggets. I didn't realize some of these schools I never had any opinion on were actually really, really excellent in particular niches

Wonder how well they are rated for Underwater Basketweaving?

Alfred University is top-notch in this area--ceramics, glass, material science/engineering. Not a joke at all.
