Cool. Thanks for sharing. Do you also harass people wearing red Nats hats? |
| Not everything is political. Reasonable people don't associate Teslas with Trump. OP, stay on the wait list, but check out some of the newer EV options. Likely, your wait be just as long. |
| Tesla is very associated with elon musk who is now very associated with trump. |
I mean today he is because he said he will return trump to twitter. No one made him say that...that is his own crappy idea. If he does not actually do that, the association will fade. |

People who have Tesla love their cars. Those don't have it hate it for some reason. It's only a $55-60k car (model 3) and it's good for the environment. For DMV, it's not a high end or luxury car. Not sure about the hate. Just weird.

Pretty much. Get a my pillow and put it in your tesla and you are all set for nap time. |
| OP - There are a few crazies on here. Wait if you want. It might be sooner. Two friends saw their dates move a lot, but things are unpredictable everywhere due to the new reality. Don't worry about the rabid-anti Tesla people on here. Cars aren't like pillow that you can easily replace. Also, every liberal I know still eats Chick-fil-A, so.......... |
| OMG. OP started this in March. Move on, folks. |
Association with trump is not hate, it is just association with trump. Trumpers with Teslas love it. |
I doubt there are any Trumpers with Teslas. |

I just drove cross country twice in the past year. You barely see any Teslas outside the wealthy enclaves of Mid-Atlantic, Tristate area, California, and greater Denver.
I was just in Montana visiting family and didn’t see a single Tesla. I forgot that they just really are not a popular car outside the urban hubs. Elon is a psychopathic troll, so I won’t be supporting him. |
I guess you haven't been to California the liberal state. It's dime a dozen over there. You need to get out more. |
| I saw the news electric Mustang on road this week and was pretty sharp |

This is the hot one. |
NP. This is nice. Keep in mind that in the long run, the traditional car manufacturers have a huge advantage. They may be newer to the EV race, but they've been making cars for nearly a century or more. Tesla has a problem with building reliable cars, and moreover, producing reliable cars in such quantities that it will be able to hold on to market share once everyone else catches up. IMO, Teslas are going to become as stale looking as a Prius over time. And while Tesla grapples with all of its production problems, the other companies are going to mass produce quality EVs in many different styles and tastes. Personally, I can't wait for the new EV Volkswagen Bus. |
