Wait for Tesla or Move On?

The last two posters are idiots. We have two Teslas and far as far from MAGAs as you could imagine. We have about eight friends with Teslas and they all fall on our end of the political spectrum.

The white right now is insane. We could sell our model three for more than we paid for it four years ago. It’s still in great shape, but we love it and we’re not gonna sell it.

Well now this is the car of MAGA. Sorry.

If you're that incapable of complex thinking, you should be sorry.

Why would someone trying to sell cars on anything else on a national level get so deeply political? Why would all the consumers so upset about the insurrection and other serious issues want to buy a car associated so strongly with trump? It's not like there are not other competitors out there vying for the electric car market. They must be happy today.

I don't really get it.

Ok but does he or does he not want to sell a lot of cars?

HA! This.

Tesla's are brand name only. I'll never understand the public's perpetual need to buy what everyone else has for status.

By the time you get this one, you'll want whatever new shiny object is out next.

People who aren't crazy know the car has nothing to do with Trump. That's why it doesn't matter.

What is the "status" exactly now with elon musk? He is associated with elevating trump if he puts that treasonous jackass back on twitter.... insurrection, shoving women's rights back 50 years, anti science covid nonsense, kissing Putin's butt......these are the associations he is tagging onto his brand when he elevates trump. Turn off. Huge turn off.

They have the best charging network out there and, for awhile, there weren't any competitors who were close. The Bolt and Leaf are fine, but they weren't on the same level when it came to technology. So, for quite awhile Teslas were in a class of their own as far as performance and self-driving capabilities. Finally, more charging options are popping up and there are some exciting electric cars that are real competitors.

Nope.

It just doesn't work like that.

Don't know. It does for me. I kinda see a confederate flag bumper sticker now when I look at a tesla.

Circling back to the topic.

Anyone who tried to buy a Tesla after Elon bought Twitter won't have it for many, many months. The people with Teslas are eco-conscious with money to spare.
