An interest-free loan sounds good, if I needed a loan or wanted a Tesla. Am I missing something?

The interest-free loan is from you to Tesla to hold the reservation, not the other way around.

Thanks. And yuck.

It is $250 (up recently from $100). Quite the interest-free loan you are giving them! (Rolls eyes)

Add it up over however many Teslas sold after months on the wait list, and it’s quite the financing gimmick. Sort of like Apple holding onto my teen’s app proceeds until they reached a threshold that was fairly high. Yeah, small potatoes for you and me, but add it up over tens of thousands or whatever sold, and it starts to seem like a scam.

Clearly you know nothing about Rivian and their backers.

We love our Prius Prime. I'm charging it in the garage right now. We bought it about a year before covid struck.
