Wait for Tesla or Move On?

We put a deposit down for a Y in December and it doesn't seem like it's going to be available until closer to November of this year. ugh. I'm tired of waiting for this Tesla that's never going to show up and am starting to think about other EVs. Is anyone in the same boat? Are you waiting for your Tesla or moving on?

Are you able to find other EVs? Bc all the companies are having supply chain issues...

if you find something you like - move on. Have you done research into another you like and it's availability?

Where are you located? We just orderd a long range Y last week from Tyson's and our expected delivery is August so I don't understand why yours would be close to 6 months longer.

I know the recall has turned some people off, but I quite like my Bolt and got a really good deal on it. Half the price of a Tesla.

I don't like Elon Musk, and don't like Teslas, so that would be a no for me.

Move on. We were in the same boat waiting on a Model 3 for a while. Gave up after over 2 years of waiting.

I had the same issue with Tesla. Was quoted 6 months and a year later, they still had my money and ended up only releasing a model that was about 30k higher than the base they initially quoted. It left a sour taste in my mouth and never returned to tesla.
Drive the taycan. A little more expensive but crazy fast.
