Since he acted as security on her dates, could not have been overly concerned about her "virtue." I am just reading this thread and I don’t understand why people are not discussing the bold above. The DR husband is twitching and moving in a very unnatural way as if he has a tick. Since he is a surgeon it could not possibly be a medical issue as he would be unable to operate. Something is very very off with the Dr husband. It has nothing to do with the horrible murder of Mr. Lee but may answer the question as to what his wife was doing on dating apps, out with a bunch of men late at night in their “city” apartment. It seems they have a house outside of the city as well. I fear the husband is not going to do well emotionally and psychologically with the publicity of this homicide. I suspect the posters that noted how he fawned over her were right. I think DR may be extremely awkward and wife was the brains behind that operation..socially, style wise etc. He was just overjoyed to be with her.

The husband's partner is one of the best well known PSs in the country, 60-ish and ultra old fashioned. It would be pretty hard to pull any funny business in that practice, especially while operating.

I sincerely doubt the doctor had anything to do with what happened to Lee.

Most of the media is still focused on the "argued about the sister's virtue" story. The doctor may have a hard time letting that go as it allows him to continue a relationship with her and seen Nima as a hero.

He was exhibiting extreme stress at the courthouse, on some level, he knows.

The brother seems financially over-extended, lots of liens including a recent one per the link earlier.

It seems possible that in claiming her marriage was rocky, what were Lee's intentions, etc, (that convo was overheard by Witness 1 and on the FT that police found on his phone) that bro was trying to get Lee to step in as a Sugar Daddy or new golden goose, to his own $ benefit too. Lee seems to have taken his words at face value and instead reassured him (per Witness 1 and FT call).

They were not on same page at all and bro may have become more and more frustrated as Lee's departure was approaching. He has minor knife and booze charges in past but nothing violent. He and the sister are some cool customers from court demeanor.

The doctor's twitching and grimacing made him seem human at least and clearly under extreme strain. If he was in the apartment that night, my opinion of him will change.
