Have you read anything about the case? He was out drinking with his murder and murder's sister at her swank apartment and then murderer offered to give him a ride back. After being stabbed he was staggering around desperately seeking help having been stabbed in the heart. The footage is online. |

Per the article, the sister (the one ltook 3 doses of GHB in a drug dealer’s anpt and woke up in a “bikini” (underwear). Husband and brother were called to pick her up. Brother lost it. |

+1 Reading the linked Aug. 1 article above, Lee hung with drug dealers who handed out drugs like candy while they all partied. Not smoking some weed, but drugs including LSD, GHB (the "date rape drug") and cocaine. This clearly wasn't Lee's first time with this crowd either. Sounds like he led one life back home and another life when visiting SF. Yes, it was eventually going to end very badly for someone in that group. |

| When he and his father referred to their "bachelor lifestyle" in Miami, I assume he lived a debauched life everywhere. I imagine him doing so while living in SF had contributed to his divorce. While there for a "conference" he was consorting with trash and getting high, one might have thought he'd spend time with the kids he'd moved away from? He even extended his trip, not for kids but for more time with K, bro and dealer. |

His ex-wife and children are in SF. "Back home" is what he called his "bachelor lifestyle" in Miami, far from his young kids. He extended his time for the SF trip, not to see more of kids but to do drugs and hang with this set. Dude was living on the edge everywhere he went, probably before his divorce, too. A new Rolling Stone article on the case said this about the alleged drug dealer.
"Khazar’s friend told investigators that Lee and his DJ friend left in the early evening, according to Dittmer, the lead investigator on the case, who testified at an August hearing. Then Khazar and her friend took three hits of GHB and passed out. When the friend woke, she found Khazar crying and half-dressed. The friend called Momeni, who arrived with Elyassnia to take Khazar home." "He denies that he pursued any sexual acts with Khazar or caused her any harm. He says the two women left his apartment in good spirits at around 7 p.m. To support this point, he says that later that night, around 3 a.m., half an hour after Lee and Momeni had left the Millennium Tower, Khazar called him and he came over to her apartment. He says they hung out until sunrise talking, though he says he can’t recall the details of their conversation. At that point, he says, neither of them knew Lee was dead. " |

Boivin isn't being accused of murder. He doesn't need an alibi. The defense is that Nima was mad at Bob for leaving Khazar alone with Boivin. That would make it a crime of passion. Boivin is claiming he didn't have sex or do drugs with with K and, in fact, she called him to her apt after Bob left. |
