I am a federal worker and I blame Biden or lack of leadership and Democrat House members for voting no on the latest CR and, most of my colleagues agree. It's not the time to play politics but fund tge government operations with a clean as possible CR.

All of this "pork" is regular government stuff that would ordinarily be in the regular appropriations bills, in the yearly budget. But we haven't had a budget in a long time, only strings of CRs. So they put some of this in the CR. It seems reasonable and both sides agreed and were going to vote for it. Then, someone who is not part of the process and doesn't understand how the government works, tweeted about it. And that, as they say, was that.

Nope. It’s happening under Johnson’s watch. He is the SOH. Biden is POTUS. They have separate duties and responsibilities. Johnson’s duty is to get an appropriation bill through Congress. Biden’s job is to veto or approve such bill once it’s placed on his desk. The freaking end.

No one is confused about what role each office plays but you are wrong if you think the head of the party and the president isn’t involved. He is supposed to be organizing and using his bully pulpit to effect the change he wants. There is a reason he canceled his holiday for this. Good thing he is listening to his advisors and not dcum.
