detaining an American citizen for 24 hours for no reason is not ICE simply following the law passed by the congress |
+1 Lots of these “obstruction” cases are being thrown out because there’s no evidence that people did anything wrong. |

“In the video, a federal officer is seen putting Mubashir in a choke hold and forcing him onto his knees in the snow as he was on his way to get food. Mubashir said he told officers multiple times that he is a U.S. citizen and asked if he could show them his I.D. Officers ignored him, dragged him in the snow and pushed him into a car as witnesses yelled and blew whistles, according to the video of his arrest.”

More and more kindling is getting piled up and there will soon be a spark. And it will be tragic. These actions are reprehensible on so many levels. It's really hard to watch and believe that here in the US there are people being snatched off the streets for simply how they look. I never thought I would see this occur, but here we are. What are we going to do about it? |
You are either woefully ignorant or unbelievably stupid. |

I’m 100% in support of ICE and the deportations. They can’t happen fast enough. Only people “against” are either illegal and either rich liberals who don’t live around anyone who’d get deported but hire them to watch their kids and cut their grass instead of paying Americans or privileged children of liberal parents who need something in college to be outraged about. It’s not an issue for real working class Americans.
Back to the regularly scheduled DC bubble. |
It’s nice for you that you have an anonymous place that you can say ridiculous and unpopular things like this. |
Honestly, it seems like some republicans see how weak Trump is and finally seem to be a little bit interested in being Americans. With a little bit of help maybe we can really start shutting this fascist nonsense down even before the election. |
You’re wrong. Some of us rich liberals marry them and have families with them. The DACA members living in the US have been vetted extensively and have never been in trouble, have graduated high school and many go on to college or trade school. They take care of their elderly family members. They are employed legally. They are good people. Not like the viscous gang members from Korea and South America. Trump isn’t hiding his contempt for nonwhite people anymore and won’t do the right thing by giving DACA members citizenship. They have proven themselves. |
Actually, 75% of the American public is opposed to how ICE is operating right now. No one is opposed to people here illegally being deported, particularly criminals. But, no one is for the disruptions and violations of civil rights being employed. Somehow both Biden and obama were able to deport millions of people in the US illegally without disrupting the lives of everyone else. Why can't Trump? |
Dp President Obama and Biden deported people from the border where they were flowing across. Trump is deporting people from the interior. These are people who know they are here illegally and are willfully ignoring the law and judge's deportation orders. The next question on those polls should be how many will be voting based on their thoughts on deportations. The answer is almost none. The economy will always be voters top concern. |
