ICE is merely enforcing laws passed by Congress and signed by our elected presidents

It won't make a difference. We have LEO running around acting like masked gutter thugs. This provides cover, when you get attacked in broad daylight no one will bat an eye.

Well, to be fair, without the masks they probably wouldn’t get invited home for the holidays.

Nearly half the country approves of how Trump is handling immigration, according to the NYT in late November.

I say Trump because he's POTUS, kind of. We all know he has no idea what is going on.

He dozed off on camera and then wakes up to rant about Somalis.

They have the authority to detain and arrest U.S. citizens that impede, obstruct, or interfere with their official duties. If that interference is a function of a citizen using their vehicle they could be given a lawful order to exit their vehicle. If the refuse it’s resisting.

What is “lawful” about this?

It’s literally what was written in the post you were replying to.

She was pulled over for a traffic stop. She was given a lawful order to provide her driver’s license to identify her. She also wouldn’t roll down her window. If she refused a lawful order to exit the vehicle that’s resisting, and they yanked her out. It’s completely lawful.

ICE has no authority to make traffic stops, numbskull. Traffic laws are state enforced. This woman is blond. The Supreme Court said they can stop people based on “appearing to be Hispanic.” I hope she sues.

You don't have to roll your window down more than a few inches during a traffic stop.

Feds probably had authority to stop her because all of Florida is within 100 miles of the border.

I assume that this is all on camera, right? What was the traffic violation?

There was a media cameraman there, so I would believe so.

Maybe they asked her to roll down tinted windows and she refused.

The driver said she had been stopped twice recently in the same area.

ICE can initiate traffic stops in Florida.

I mean, much more than half the country supports the deportation of violent invaders who are killing our citizens. If you still believe the lies spread by the NYT, CNN, and other democrat/socialist indoctrination centers, you are seriously in trouble.

This is delusional dipshittery full of your own lies.

Yes, most normal people support deporting violent criminals. But the overwhelming majority of the people being deported are not violent, and in fact don't even have a criminal record. That's not some "NYT CNN socialist lie" either, that comes directly from DHS's own data. And polling shows most normal people do not support deporting non-violent, non-criminal immigrants who just came here to work.

Also, you for reference, to any normal person, you sound like a drooling nitwit conspiracy theorist who never leaves his mom's basement when you say crap like "socialist indoctrination center." That may work in the extreme right wing message boards you hang out on, but out in the real world it all breaks down.

Does "only doing their job" include brazenly stealing trucks and vehicles from the people they deport?

I mean, if these illegal aliens (and, in this case, their supporters) refuse to comply with ICE orders, they should be subject to arrest, de-naturalization, and deportation.

If you do not love our country, our constitution, and the brave men and women of law enforcement, there is no place for you in this country.

ICE does not have jurisdiction over US citizens and no one has to "comply with their orders" - I can see how you would have been acting if in Berlin in 1936.

Can you show your work on this claim? Because everything I have seen has Trump underwater on immigration by 20+ points.

There are situations where they do. That won’t change if you keep typing it.

No. They can operate immigration checkpoints. By law, they cannot stop people for moving violations or broken tail lights. They certainly cannot give people tickets.

Kavanaugh Stops give them a lot of leeway about suspicion of improper immigration status, but that is not settled law.
