Paid to brainwash kids and appease the angry small mobs. |

Yes after Harvard college and Harvard school of Ed affirmative action scholarships you can go on to build more AA programs so more AA candidates can go get more AA candidates and so on.
What’s the end game? Only have protestors and no producers? At what point does someone enter the economy and not live off SJW donor funds? |
Someone in China and India can't stop laughing at our stupidity. |
Yeah, because they are all so perfect.

I accept that my kids will have a tougher time getting into top 10 schools because many of those schools are pushing hard for diversity (both racial and economic). My kids won’t have the same experience as me but they will be fine. A top 10 school will do more for others than them. |
We are affluent parents with impressive academic and professional credentials. We sought out diverse public schools for our kids. And we are ok if our kids don’t go to top 10 schools like we did because those schools are now pushing for diversity. Our kids will be fine. |
What a random answer. They are not perfect and they know they aren't. They are just catching up quickly and educating millions of engineers (for example) while we obsess with AA and ethnic studies. |
Who exactly is “obsessed” with AA and ethnic studies? What measurable impact does AA have? Positive and negative so we know the full picture. And you think ethnic studies is displacing engineering? How so? |
Wait, I thought we were educating them. They all seem to come here to attend our engineering schools. |
You guys are assholes. What else is new. Same stupid conversation. Instead of working hard, you guys are the ones that are bitter, while YOU fall behind. If you can't make it as a white person in the country, that's your fault. |
Life is not fair. You forget that AA helps women more than black people. Women are the main beneficiaries. Are we willing to take that away as well? Remember, women are also catching hell in corporate america. Without AA, they would not be there. |
Yea, my uncle bought into diversity. He changed his mind when her daughter, my cousin, got pregnant at 16 and dropped out of high school. My cousin divorced from her first husband, two kids in tow, and is now married again with a stable and happy life. |
I could see if black students were passing their boards or the bar, but they are, which means that once they get in, they have the intelligence to compete. |
I don't think the OP was talking about sex, but race. Last time I checked, being female is not a race. Also, women outnumber men in college education attainment. Shouldn't affirmative action be favoring men in order to atone for this discrimination by colleges/universities against men? |
No time for laughing. Too much math, engineering and things to build. American softies can keep arguing with themselves in deadlock. Have you seen what the U.S. STEM school students in eS, Ms and HS accomplish out in CA and TX and Vegas? Grade levels ahead of what’s going on here in the squishy DMV public and independent schools. And happy well-rounded kids with tons of diversity. Imagine if schools had high expectations and standards for all. |
