Yup. I went to college with a minority basketball player (if I named him, you'd know him), and he was hands down the stupidest kid in the school. I'd I had to guess IQ, I'd say around 85ish. But....he sure won games, and he could add to the all-important "diversity" quota. One professor told me he was told not to give him less than a C under any circumstances.

Liberals on this forum are either clueless or in complete denial as a way to justify racial discrimination in college admissioms. Standards are lowered significantly in order to get more black students in, and of course that comes at the expense of whites. And Asians. Period.

1) The expense of a small % of majority kids. It's a small price to pay. Those kids will be fine.

2) Provide some data that the small % of kids who aren't getting in are the poor white Billys. That is a purely a fabrication of demographics. It could just as easily be middle-class kids - actually even more probable given the applicant pool for college.

3) PP is being called a racist because she's not worried about other kids (athletes, legacies, other URMs) taking spots in college. ONLY black kids.

4) We are all still experiencing the nasty side effects of slavery and systematic racism (that exists TODAY). Why do you think they'd just magically go away quickly? Why are you denying that they exist?

If that was the case then why aren’t minority college grads doing tough majors and going into law, medicine, consulting, appears, engineering jobs.
