Look at CapLax wanting everyone to be nice when they are getting some criticism. Classic

I don't believe any club would be excited to see another club trashed by petty parents on an anonymous board. Having multiple clubs benefits the DMV and offers a place for all levels and interests in travel lax. I'm confused as to why you would lump MC Elite, Pride & Rattlers together. They are very different Clubs and compete in different tournaments and brackets. In fact, Rattlers doesn't even go to the same tournaments as the other 2 clubs. I'm not a Capital parent, but I think all of these attacks are pointless and petty.

Your post comes off like Pride/MC Elite/Rattlers are somehow below Capital. Don't think that is how they see it. If you aren't a Capital parent, who are you?

I'm a Pride parent. I'm very happy with the Club and I know Pride is just as good as Capital and StJ/Stars. But, I don't feel any need to boost the Club or trash others, and I question the motives of others that do.

Not sure if it is that you are posing as a Pride parent or that you haven't bothered to read this thread.

I am not a Capitol parent either....but I would imagine if we were we would not be happy and therefore voicing it.....kind of like these posts seem to be doing. I don't think they are pointless at all. It helps the parents with younger ones be more aware of their decisions.

When Capital is on here and out in public talking about other clubs, they call it civil discourse. If something is said about them, it is bashing and the people that are saying it are liars. In this case, facts are facts. The club can't win. That is something that you need to do in order for an athlete to display the performance coaches from competitive colleges are looking for.

If you were a parent and the club was perfoming as bad as Capital, would you be upset if they were mass marketing training for girls outside the age and grade of their players? Shouldn't they be focusing on how to develop their own athletes?

As the parent of a younger child, I am just interested to see if the Pride 2023 girls, who seem to have a lot of talent and be doing well in tournaments, get a fair look by college coaches who may not know the team name as well as Capital, who does not seem to be doing as well. How much does team name matter?

No way. Capital amazing. Current management has the utmost integrity. Coaches are highly qualified. Teams are all performing well. The environment is so nurturing and development opportunities are everywhere. Parents and athletes are always happy. No one would ever have a bone to pick with them. lol

Lets be honest the words 'parents' and 'happy' are nowhere to be found associated with any youth club sport. But to clear, there's a reason folks take aim at CLC, much like they do Alabama in football, Duke in basketball or even the New York Yankees in baseball. They mostly win. Success breeds haters. But success isn't always uniform across teams or even club-wide over all the club's grades. Like anything else, you get out of a club, a job or a relationship whatever you the child and family put into it. End of story. So, sure put your anger out here for all to see here, but at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter. CLC alums going off to top academic and athletic programs does. Sorry if that's too harsh but that's what this game is all about. Doesn't matter if you win all your club games or not. Its about the commitments. Clubs are a big part of that equation, but its the child, the family and their high school that play an even greater role.

Please stop making so much sense after Thanksgiving. I need the hate and anger back.

What am I going to read during the day while I’m back at work.

Whoever was posting about the Capital ‘22s not playing top teams in top bracket at fall tournaments obviously doesn’t know what she is talking about. They moved up in rankings and did better than both Skywalkers and M&D.

haha, random twitter account says we are good. . .come on Capital, why not actually do something and advertise that???

ex.
Capital Player Fantasy-Our 22 goalies are not recruited but the US Team Goalie is working directly with them to put them in position to achieve their goals.
Capital Player Reality-If they would have paid our Goalie-owner extra money, maybe she would have actually talked to them during the 3 years they have been members of our club.

Using the same rankings, it looks like the 22 Blue team played only 2 of their 11 games against teams in the Top 10, and lost both. They played 2 other games against Top 20 teams and won. But, the rest of their 11 games were against teams outside the Top 20, and 3 of them outside the Top 50. The average ranking of their opponents was 35, and they tied the 27th ranked team. This is not a sign of a team playing in the top brackets. If your team plays in the top brackets week in and week out, the majority of the games should be against top 20 teams.
