She thinks people who don't eat buckets of sugar have an eating disorder. |
^^^ YOU....ARE....INCORRECT....^^^!! I specifically said walking hills, and walking at a good clip. If you think that is not a workout, you need to be re-educated on the basics of physical fitness. And you do not need to run to be fit. I am not a runner, never will be. True "running" is bad for your joints, your breasts, makes your face gaunt and old looking....I could go on and on. My cardio of choice is walking, not strolling along but actual walking. Believe me when I tell you, I am fit! |

Just walk with your 6mo on your back ... you'll get your workout.

JOGGING for miles on end is bad for your joints. Running sprints with good form is not bad for you. Wow your claims are ridiculous. Running is bad for your breasts and makes your face gaunt?? Wtf. You need to be educated on the basics of physical fitness. Ever heard of a trainer prescribing walking in a program?? Maybe, if you're morbidly obese and can't even move. And how do you define fit?? |

OP, more specifically, what are your eating weaknesses?
I got a jumpstart on losing weight by just cutting out bread/bread related things and pasta. I still ate rice and fruit, so it wasn't low-carb but just cutting those things eliminated a lot of empty-ish calories for me. But bread is my real weakness. If you aim to walk about seven miles a day, that would help a lot too. You can easily do that with a six-month-old. In the winter you can just go to the mall, walk for an hour, have lunch, walk for another hour. |
I'm not pp, but that's wrong. Promoting diets where you eat 500 calories a day, or never touch a piece of bread, is not responsible. |
Weakness: sugar. In my coffee, oatmeal, for dessert. LOVE the idea to mall walk! I won't look like a crazy person, though? Speed walking around the mall? |
500 calories is perfectly reasonable for most people who need to lose weight and are on an intermittent fasting regimen. Healthy, even. |
| NP here, just chiming in to say walking is a great workout. I am in good shape; I spin, do weights, and vinyasa yoga. We got a dog last year who needed lots and lots of exercise so I found myself walking between 3-5 miles a day and I lost 8 pounds in 2 months. It was basically those last 10 pounds that I never thought I'd ever lose because i refuse to give up carbs. ;-p. So find some hilly routes and get walking! It's awesome! |

Doctors don't know shit about nutrition. They get almost no training in nutrition in med school. They are not very knowledgable or open to recent research in nutrition, the role of the microbiome, hormones, fat and the insulin response. |
Actually, the feeling of being hungry goes away pretty quickly. It's not like a building hunger that lasts all day. It's just a feeling that comes and then goes. 500 calories is actually a pretty good amount of food, depending on what you eat. Anyway, it works for me! I recommend it, but it might not be for everyone. |

| The malls are usually open for walking before the stores open |
