I get pretty hungry by early afternoon on fasting days but have dinner early and it's all good.

I have more energy while intermittent fasting than not. I've upped my running game and feel really good in general.

You go running on days when you only eat 500 calories?

NP here who also has no problems whatsoever with fasted cardio. No dizziness, no problem. And I climb about 150 flights of stairs in 30 min.

I cannot, however, fast on the days when I lift heavy!!

What do you eat the day after you lift? You can't recover and build muscle on 500 calories.

You're absolutely correct. I only fast once per week on the weeks when I do a rest week (every 6-8 weeks or so). I used to fast weekly, but my workouts have simply become too intense to sustain the fasting. I still very much believe in it, however. I tried incorporating frequent fasting into my regimen of heavy lifting last year...and let's just say it was a failed experiment (to say the least).

Actually, the feeling of being hungry goes away pretty quickly. It's not like a building hunger that lasts all day. It's just a feeling that comes and then goes. 500 calories is actually a pretty good amount of food, depending on what you eat.

Anyway, it works for me! I recommend it, but it might not be for everyone.

Of course it works for you. It's starvation.

Get off your high horse. Don't think it's a good idea despite the evidence? Then don't do it.

What evidence besides the people Mommyho "invented" this crazy diet? Something tells me this hasn't been vetted by any peer reviewed medical journal. B

Put down the doritos. Not shoving food in your gullet every 2 hours won't kill you.

As for peer reviewed medical journals, you obviously don't even have the slightest clue how to do any research.

None of this relate to her mans eating 500 calories a day.

Humans

You are retarded AND incapable of looking up journal articles. Sure, I linked to some studies with non-human subjects, but at least 2 used human subjects. And the studies I linked to were just a sampling of what I found. And the PP is not advocating for eating only 500 calories, EVERY SINGLE DAY. Fasts, by definition, are temporary.

It's your prerogative to stay a retard. But for any others here who are actually interested in educating themselves, here's a pro tip so you can make informed decisions based on scientific study - go on google scholar and type the topic to a list of relevant peer reviewed journal articles. https://scholar.google.com/

I am sorry, buy no one will take seriously anyone who thinks it's okay to throw around the term "retard". You sound simple minded and it's unlikely you are capable of understanding the articles you posted.

Try the cinch diet. Then just eat clean--and eliminate sugar.

You should only drink water. Black coffee if you must have coffee.

Beware of lowfat/fat free diet foods--they tend to be full of sugar.

Exercise.
