DC Public and Public Charter Schools
| Is this really all THAT common? I'm sure it happens sometimes, but how many kids are we talking about? |
You women are pathetic. We all know the original "deadbeat" poster was implying race because the student was black. She doesn't really know the entire story about any unemployment, she made that up to cover her assumption, but now is realizing that that story makes her look nosey. Why in the hell would she be talking to G'ma. Now the pphas resorted to talking about my excellent providing black husband to deflect her mistake. It's ok. I recognize the ignorance. I pray we don't attend the same school. Why in the world would you know all this information if all you did was fill out a damn form? I am done. I quit. Ignorance and hate wins today. |
How did she have mud on her face? If I'm following this correctly, the child does live in Maryland. This is supposed to be the point of the reporting form. Let's not discourage people from reporting fraud just because DCPS doesn't follow through! Can we FOIA these reports? |
| Well the hell have you been?! It's RAMPANT in elementary schools. Prob ten fold from 5 or ten years ago. There has been a pop. boom and more gentrifiers are staying vs. running off when their kid hits school age. Also, language immersion is the new "it" thing and the District's option outnumber its MD/VA counterparts. So, folks are rushing in and/or are staying put because the prob has been so long standing and so accepted that there's tons of kids who have matriculated in DC for years. Now they feel entitled because they got away with cheating for so many years. The system is now bursting at the seems more than ever. Sorry, longterm cheater- we want our seats back for our kids. We have the numbers now. Move into the City or get the hell out of our schools!! |
...WAIT...I WAS DONE UNTIL THIS....Now it's a 16 year old deadbeat!!! This gets better and better. So the high school kid that knocked up his gf is a deadbeat. Wow. Now you know his age? What about his SSN? Lady, you are a lunatic. And no, it's not cheating, if the kid has a parent in DC, that kid has a legal right to attend school in DC. You don't like it, change the law. Wow, just wow. You really showed your true colors. Let's see if anyone other than your sock puppet defend you now. |
| and for the record, you can't officially be considered "unemployed" at 16....so what's your real story??? |
No. YOUR ignorance and hate LOST. Now you're running away. But, to the arms of your poor black husband and awful sex life! Before you get of DCUM altogether, segway over to the threads about sex issues. Nevermind- you need real help, lady! |
If this kid is not your son, I'm done too! Geez, lady. Get an effin' grip! You are the sickest reverse racist I've ever heard. You've projected blackness on the kid because he was called a dead beat. Now you've gone one some rant about his SSN, etc... All because your sex life with your black husband sucks. And, you brought this here on DCUM. Really! Damn, feeling sorry for him, your kids, your neighbors, us, EVERYONE right now. They have way too many sex-deprived weirdos on DCUM! |
Are you not reading this thread? Every PGer is being referred to as a goon/goblin etc and that's okay with you people? Sad day. |
Whoever said the student is black? Why the hell would I be talking to the grandmother? What the hell is wrong with you? I talk to all kinds of parents, grandparents, nannies, teachers, hall monitors, you name it, at my kid's school. I volunteer and room parent and go to assemblies and make small talk all the time with all kinds of parents and family members. I am not scavenging for information about anybody's personal life. We were invited to this kid's birthday party in PG county, which is when I realized that they live in PG. You know what, it doesn't feel all that great to report somebody's nice gramma for residency fraud and I was actually relieved that nothing came of it, but it pisses me off that people are routinely RIPPING OFF the children of DC, including yours. |
Pay attention, please. The kid had a kid at 16, is now presumably 20. |

You absolutely do not have a right to send your child to school in DC if you are a DC resident, only if the CHILD also bodily resides in DC. That is why home residency checks usually ask to see the child's bedroom, clothes, etc.
However, this obviously has a lot of wiggle room with divorced parents and, in this case, grandparents. |
| Don't be fooled by the nutty poster all up in arms that you did the right thing. I hope people will follow in your foot steps. A lot of people are complacent with residency cheating- including "nice grammas". They are wolves in sheeps clothing because they know that there are a lot of nice grammas who live in this city, pay taxes, raise their grandchildren and are waiting for the opportunity for their grandkids to get into a decent DCPS or Charter. This so-called nice gramma is stealing directly from them. She's wrong. But what do you expect from someone who raised a dead beat 16- these are irresponsible selfish people. Plain and simple. I hope DCPS steps up their enforcement. They are the problem. |
The sad part is the PP actually agreed with the obsessed cheater chaser. She questioned the use of the word "goon" when she referred to people from Prince Georges Co. The worse kind of bigotry is the one that is being used by this person. I dare her, to get in front of her PTA or auction committee meeting a call PGer's goons, in front of AA parents. You can hide behind your laptop. If you are hellbent in apprehending and convicting these parents, then go for it. But, when you get the ovaries to step away from the keyboard and spew your crazy ranting in public, let us know. We can give you an audience of hard working, well educated parents of all races to hear your crusade on residency fraud. Give us a time and date. |
