If you’re just going to vote to end your own rights, maybe don’t vote instead of trying to take every other woman down with you. If Trump wins, in a few years I guarantee you’ll be able to see the connection between abortion and the rest of what your Christofascist party wants to do to rights.

I'm smart enough to use appropriate birth control, choose a mature and caring partner who respects me and our children, and use my God-given brains wisely. No one else is my steward. Speak for yourself.

Yes. Bring back roe and keep the government far away from this issue for women. Every woman owns these decisions for herself. Harris gets this and Trump does not

Harris isn’t asking to bring back Roe. She wants abortion without restriction nation wide. She has even ruled out religious exemptions for providers.

Dems lost the “my body my choice” mantra with their mandatory Covid vaccinations. Please.

DP. I mean, that's how medical stuff works. Providers don't get to pick and choose. And the federal government, and state government, regulates but does not ban for moral reasons (or for "moral" reasons).

Of course they do. We have religious exemptions now (ie Catholic hospitals) and doctors can decline to perform procedures for all sorts of reasons.

Young men are moving to the right, but young women are moving FAR to the LEFT. Many took our rights for granted and were caught off guard by Rs.

What about ectopic pregnancies?
What about non-viable fetuses, are they expected to be carried to term?

I can list 100 other circumstances that have nothing to do with your screed.

Young men are moving to the right

Lots of discourse about this but not much evidence

Narrator: she supports roe

Note, roe basically had no limits where the mothers health or baby viability were concerned, even well into the 3rd trimester.

No one is getting a vanity third trimester abortion, and no doctor is performing a vanity 3rd trimester abortion.

Abortion bans mean the government is actually interfering with a medical procedure that a woman might choose and forcing her to go through 9 months of pregnancy, then labor and delivery.

"Mandatory Covid vaccinations" means someone is saying, if you want to partake in [xyx] you must be vaccinated. Schools and summer camps have always done this. But here's the thing - they were not strapping people down on a gurney to inject the vaccine against their will. You always had a choice to say, no I don't want the vaccine - so I won't partake in [whatever] -- that is your consequence that you choose yourself. No vaccines for my kid? Okay, but then you take your kid elsewhere. Not the same thing as removing a choice so that a girl or woman HAS to go through the consequence of 9 months of pregnancy that potentially might kill her and will definitely leave after-effects on her body and her life.

No. Since you are abdicating your voice, I’ll let the men you are choosing to give your rights to, speak for you.
The majority of the office holders in the Republican Party are/were bankers and business men before holding office. Some were military or police. You are wise to defer to their best judgement. Their success in business, and strong Christian faith, give them unique insight into your daughter’s healthcare. They are best suited to decide if she should receive life saving care. You lack the imagination to envision a scenario where a woman would need reproductive healthcare, even in the event of a wanted pregnancy, so of course you shouldn’t be involved. Trump is right to kick it back to the states, where your local representative, who owns car dealerships, can make these decisions.
It takes immense self awareness to critically assess your limitations and know when to acquiesce to your betters. Kudos to you.

He does have the power to do something about the border - his executive orders will reduce the number or migrants simply by making the US an unappealing destination - but as we learned in 2021 that all goes out the window once he leaves office. If he truly wants a border solution that outlasts him he'll need to work with Congress, something he's incapable of doing.

Trump already did more than squat by selecting the correct justices after McConnell blockaded the Obama Administration from choosing Scalia’s successor.

Harris in turn can do more than squat by seeking Judicial Branch reform. One option would be to achieve legislation to expand the Supreme Court, or to impose term limits. Another option, however, would be to seek transparency over Judicial Branch operations beyond the Supreme Court. It’s transparency and openness that scares Chief Justice Roberts.

Provisions that could be passed into law include:

1. Extension of civil rights to employees of the Federal Judiciary.

2. Mandating and funding on-demand free download of all records currently filed with the court on PACER, save for those limited records that are placed under judicial seal.

3. Installation of an Office of the Inspector General for the Federal Judiciary, answerable to Congress rather than the Chief Justice or the Judicial Conference of the United States. This is the policy-making arm responsible for budget requests, management of probation officers, management of publicly-funded defense attorneys, and support services for the Federal courts.

4. Extension of FOIA for all matters that fall under the Judicial Conference.

5. Public notice of all members of the numerous advisory committees to the Judicial Conference, not just the Advisory Committees on Rules and Procedures.

We have daughters and sons, and don't want their reproductive health (or repro health of their partners) to be compromised.

It’s a business decision to tell people you’re supporting Kamala. You want to be invited to cocktail parties and wine-soaked brunches.

But in the voting booth, and on his list of supporters so he knows you’re a friend? President Trump all the way.

So both a terrible person and a coward? Yes, that’s a Trump voter.
