I already voted, and a lot of women I know have already voted, but we surely were not motivated to turn out by abortion. We were motivated to turn out by the last four years of this terrible economy and border crisis. The contention of liberals that women are all single issue abortion voters is so tiring.
“ I’m not worthy of full rights and bodily autonomy. Let stronger and smarter men be the steward of what is best for me and my daughters.”
I'm smart enough to use appropriate birth control, choose a mature and caring partner who respects me and our children, and use my God-given brains wisely. No one else is my steward. Speak for yourself.
Yes. Bring back roe and keep the government far away from this issue for women. Every woman owns these decisions for herself. Harris gets this and Trump does not
Harris isn’t asking to bring back Roe. She wants abortion without restriction nation wide. She has even ruled out religious exemptions for providers. Dems lost the “my body my choice” mantra with their mandatory Covid vaccinations. Please.
Abortion bans mean the government is actually interfering with a medical procedure that a woman might choose and forcing her to go through 9 months of pregnancy, then labor and delivery. "Mandatory Covid vaccinations" means someone is saying, if you want to partake in [xyx] you must be vaccinated. Schools and summer camps have always done this. But here's the thing - they were not strapping people down on a gurney to inject the vaccine against their will. You always had a choice to say, no I don't want the vaccine - so I won't partake in [whatever] -- that is your consequence that you choose yourself. No vaccines for my kid? Okay, but then you take your kid elsewhere. Not the same thing as removing a choice so that a girl or woman HAS to go through the consequence of 9 months of pregnancy that potentially might kill her and will definitely leave after-effects on her body and her life.
