Michael Moore expects large female turnout on Abortion

My response to Michael Moore where were they in 2022?

In the 2022 Midterms (1) Republicans won the House then, (2) Trump the leading cadidate *was not* on the ballot to help down ballot races he brings lots of R. voters to elections, (3) strict abortion measures were rolled back in many states since then.

So what am I missing here?

Sadly, most people don't pay attention to midterms. The general population only pays attention to presidential elections.

I already voted, and a lot of women I know have already voted, but we surely were not motivated to turn out by abortion. We were motivated to turn out by the last four years of this terrible economy and border crisis. The contention of liberals that women are all single issue abortion voters is so tiring.

I think Michael Moore is a clown but the republicans barely won the house in 2022. The much-ballyhooed red wave never materialized. That’s what you’re missing.

Michael Moore is a better documentary filmmaker than he is political prognosticator.

He was very right in 2015.
He was sort of the lone voice on that one.

Yes. You are definitely a woman, who is not a hard-core right-wing loon, and you know countless uh fellow women who vote because of the wall. Right? Right.

+1

And the Republicans have been losing seats in special elections to the point where their majority is barely discernable.

I really wish that every American could travel abroad. Our standard of living is so high! I have been shocked by the American standard of living.
