What procedures have you done as a 40-year-old?

So you've had lipo, too, then.

BBL is a laser.

Dysport 3-4 x/yr starting around 43 and an upper bleph at 46.

I might try IPL for broken capillaries at some point. No interest in filler.

What’s the difference between Dysport and Botox?

Do you go to a sauna place? Or you have this at home? Jealous!

You can get it from an online doc. But you should just start adapalene (Differin) over the counter. It's like $11 and tolerated better, so a good warm up for something stronger if you go that route.

DP- They’re just different brands of toxin. Dysport tends to last longer for me but it does the same thing as Botox.

- Lip filler
- Microneedling
- Tried laser on my temple veins - didn’t work
- Lipo on my underarm bulges (they were big despite me being skinny, and it was fat not breast tissue)

I’m 41.

It is so sad that we talk about ourselves like this. Women and men all over the world are trying to "look younger" to keep up with each other. We see a celebrity with tons of surgery and botox and think "wow she looks great!" We just can't love ourselves as we are.

I’m the PP who got underarm lipo. I don’t think it made me look younger! However it did make my clothes more comfortable, especially things like swimsuits and sports bras that would dig into my armpit bulges. If you don’t have this I don’t expect you to understand!

PP who got the lip done on her underarm bulges - I thought I was the only one with this issue! How much did it cost?

None. I’m 54. I wear sunscreen everyday, but that’s about it. I have some wrinkles, but I think I look OK.

45- nothing

40 is still young, I didn't look much different than 30 at that time. I'm only now starting to see a difference in my skin and will consider laser or a chemical peel sometime after I turn 46. Might even jump into the Botox arena, but don't have any wrinkles right now.

I had nothing done at 40. No need (Sicilian). By 45, had botox. 47, a little filler at the lid/cheek junction.

PP - they are different formulations of the same thing. Dysport seems to be a little milder than Botox, but it also lasts longer. I think it looks a little more natural too.

None at 40. Started tretoinin and Botox at 49 Will look at peels and lasers in the fall.
