| Only dermabrasion. I'm 45 and zero lines/wrinkles yet though. Good genes, good diet, lots of exercise, sunscreen daily. I like to do gentle lymphatic drainage massage on my face and neck too. |
| From my father I inherited big fatty bags under my eyes and I got rid of those. I’m very happy with the result. No Botox or anything else. |
| 45. Only electrolysis for facial hair |
| 40. Tretinoin and sunscreen since age 12. Light botox in forehead and 11s plus IPL for rosacea quarterly starting at 35. |

At age 40, I hadn't done anything. I had some fine lines on my forehead and crow's feet, but my skin was otherwise in decent shape.
By age 45, things had taken a turn. I have been good about sunscreen since my late 20s, but my forehead wrinkles got worse, and my eyebrows and lids started to sad. I looked tired and angry all the time. My skin was looking dull and the texture seemed to be getting worse. No amount of sleep, water or diet changes seemed to help. I started using tretinoin at that point, but it took a long time for my skin to adjust. I could only use it twice a week for the first 9 months or so. I also tried Botox and really liked it, much to my surprise. I get a few units in my forehead, the 11s, and crow's feet. I look so much more awake now! It also improved my forehead wrinkles. I'm nearly 47 and have done Botox about 3 times now. Along with vitamin C in the morning and tret at night (a couple of times per week), my skin looks better than it has in a long time. |
| 40, and BBL! My skin looks great. |

Would be interested in seeing where people are from.
Most of my higher income friends in LA and NY do botox like they do hair. DC, fewer. Smaller towns and more rural areas, nope. It's a generalization but it's like fashion: you don't see a lot of certain types of clothing in Iowa. Whereas in NYC, it's ubiquitous. And while some of these procedures can be overdone or grotesque, you have no idea how many people get them with restraint which IMO is totally the point. Regardless, it's a privilege so access isn't as wide as getting nails done. |
| 40-Botox 4x/year since 38, lymphatic drainage massages, infrared sauna 4x/week. |
How??? I have those too and they really age me. |
What is IPL? |
My derm is in Damascus. I don’t live there, but it’s a short drive in the morning with no traffic. |
Intense Pulsed Light. It's a laser that targets small capillaries to reduce redness. It also will target hyperpigmentation like melasma or sun damage to even out the complexion. I don't have the latter two but have found it to be effective for redness. I also have topicals for rosacea, but this really seems to work better, or at least great in conjuction with the topicals. No one would think I have rosacea at all just looking at me. |
| More people do this stuff than you think. They just don't advertise it. And if they go to someone good, you won't know. You will just think they look great. |

- Botox
- Lip filler - Microneedling - Tried laser on my temple veins - didn’t work - Lipo on my underarm bulges (they were big despite me being skinny, and it was fat not breast tissue) I’m 41. |

I can’t believe anyone is doing fillers after seeing Courtney Cox and Jen Aniston wreck their faces with that garbage.
And whatever Nicole Kidman and Renee Zelwegger did to their faces should be illegal. ICYMI: those celebs have access to the best docs and the best treatments, yet they look disfigured. |
