| What procedures or treatments do you get as 40-year-old? Interested in knowing about lasers, peels, Botox, fillers, etc. Also, at what age did you start? |
| I haven't stepped up to actual procedures, but I did start Tretinoin and now use it every night. It has been a game changer! |
|
I get Botox in my forehead and 11s 4x a year and have been doing that since 37 (am 42). Love it. Costs about $1,200 a year (I do not get a ton of it).
I also had frequent facials and microdermabrasion in my early 20s for acne which I suppose was helpful (I grew out of it with the help of antibiotics). |

Nothing at 44
- Tretinoin for the past two years - just order Gold Bond Crepe Corrector (suggested here) for my neck Def keeping an eye on my neck as a lose weight |
| How are you all getting Tretinoin? Dermatologists in my area have a long wait list for appointments. Has anyone gotten them prescribed by an online derm? |
|
Tummy tuck.
Nothing else. |
I got mine online through nurx. Super easy |
| Nothing. 40 isn’t even old to begin with, and all this crap y’all are doing is just going to eff up your faces. Maybe try aging with a little grace and dignity. |
| I use: Tretinoin, botox (2x/year) and microneedling |
I'll be 40 next month and haven't done anything other than the occasional facial, but I have a gift card for laser treatment for facial discoloration (pregnancy-induced melasma) that I still haven't used 2 years later...should get on that
|
I also used Nurx. No issues. |
| 48 - I've had some skin tags removed? |
Nothing. I developed rosacea in my 40s and now have an extremely limited choice of skincare (with sun and certain diet triggers). Now it's sunscreen everywhere, limited dairy and chocolate, and no spicy foods.

| Zero. And I refuse. Life is too short to have to worry about that crap. Unnecessary anesthesia and surgery is for the birds. |
+1. Botox and fillers - it all looks ridiculous. |
