It happened after midnight. Stop speculating. The guy wasn't even currently on the team.

Nope. First alert went out at 10:33 pm.

When will this violence stop? When will our leaders actually do something? When will people value human life over the “right” to obtain guns meant to kill?

Northern Virginia families, please keep an eye on your kids this week! Particularly for the Arlington Community, a W and L student lost his life to a drunk driver on Thursday, a recent Yorktown grad at William and Mary passed away this week, and now they’re seeing this in the news, having family and friends there that they are fearful for. Heartbreaking week.

I’m so sorry. Community, keep an eye on parents too! It’s so hard for everyone.

Why would people be booing? It's not like they wanted to do badly. That is what I don't get about the audience of any sports. The players get so much abuse from spectators. It hurts the players more when they lose. I always assume the people who are nasty are those who are low-class gambling addicts who made a bad bet and can't deal with the fact that the results are not what they wanted.

Not hearing about this anymore so who knows where he is. So awful and scary.

Scanner had him at Warner Hall as of a minute or two ago. But these sightings are often unreliable.

Word has it some of the victims are star players on the football team.

“Are *often* unreliable.” This happens often??

Can people just be civil? Lives are lost and many of our kids are still locked down some in classrooms etc.. Let's all cut the bickering and childish responses.

My heart breaks for the UVA students and staff going through this traumatic experience. And I’m thinking of all the families that have loved ones currently on campus. This is so devastating. Praying there are no more fatalities and that it comes to an end soon.

Three people are dead. By definition it is a mass shooting. Why are you arguing semantics? Sit down.

Target can be one or many.

And “mass” is not synonymous with “random.”

Your need to argue semantics while a killer is on the loose blocks from where my child and others’ live is disgusting. Shame on you.

ok mass target shooting

Was it a football player from a different school targeting UVA football players?

No. Nothing is know about motive just that the alleged shooter was on the football team roster in 2018.

Very sad.

Sadly, I think the younger generations will have to save itself from this madness as they age into voting.
